Boards of Ed. have long lists of candidates

It appears there will be a contest for the two seats to be filled on the Tiffin Board of Education in November.
The Seneca County Board of Elections reported Thursday afternoon that the following people had filed petitions to run for school boards. The Board of Elections has not certified the petitions, so they will not be officially on the Nov. 2 ballot until Aug. 26.
The candidates are:
- Tiffin City board (two to be elected): John H. Bolte, 2805 Briarwood Drive; James W. Boroff, 289 Hancock St., and Patricia Hillmer, 25 Southview Place.
- Governing Board of the North Central Ohio Educational Center: District 2, Steven Snavely, 1599 N. SR 19, Republic; District 4, John M. Walker, 411 Hillman-Ford Road, Morral; District 6, none; and District 7, (unexpired term ending 12-31-01), Gregory P. McCloud, 3265 Boundary Road, Prospect.
- Fostoria Community board (two to be elected): Ronald L. Reinhard, 104 Summit St., and Jeff Shiff, 723 W. Fremont St.
- Bettsville Local (two to be elected): Peter A. Heilman, 6679 B TR 69, Kansas; Janeen Jackson, 2887 W. TR 170, Tiffin; Jeff Lynch, 4730 N. CR 11, Tiffin; John Schumm, 4675 N. TR 69, Tiffin; and Terry A. Steinhauer, 3915 W. SR 12, Kansas. In Bettsville for an unexpired term ending Dec. 31, 2001, Diane M. Baker, 7860 N. TR 69, Kansas.
