Local people file to run for school board

Individuals who wished to be a member of the board of education made the deadline Thursday afternoon to file their petition with the Board of Elections.
Only Fostoria, Bettsville, Seneca East and Hopewell-Loudon district voters will have a choice at the polls Nov. 6 for their school representation.
The people who have filed, and the district they are seeking to represent are: * For the North Central Ohio Educational Service Center Governing Board, District 1, Jane Meisner, 2241 S. TR 109, Tiffin; District 3, T. Dwain Sayre, 787 N. SR 53, McCutchenville; and District 5, Mickey Landon, 2589 Marion-Bucyrus Road, Marion.
- For Fostoria City School District, with three to be elected, are: Linda Anderson, 655 Northview Drive; Joan Nelson, 630 Summit St., Ben Pohlman, 479 Linwood Ave.; and Debra Ward, 637 Westhaven.
- For Tiffin City School district, with three to be elected: Christopher English, 122 Sunny Lane; Dawn Iannantuono, 79 Northwood Drive; and Robert Joyce, 525 Hedges St.
- For Bettsville Local School district, three to be elected: Diane Baker, 7860 N. TR 69, Kansas; Robyn Benner, 3409 W. CR 592; Shirley Burkart, 5765 N. CR 11, Tiffin; Emily Kizer, 8911 N. SR 590, Bettsville: and Jean Schumm, 4675 N. TR 69, Tiffin. For an unexpired term on the Bettsville board, ending Dec. 31, 2003, Ralph Borer, 306 Sullivan St., Bettsville.
- For Hopewell-Loudon Local School district, three to be elected: Terry Babcock, 624 N. TR 87, Fostoria; Robert Bodart, 12638 W. TR 114, Fostoria; Linda Depinet, 4741 N. TR 112, Tiffin; and Gregory Siebenaller, 5730 W. Tiffin St., Bascom.
- For Mohawk Local School district, two to be elected: Tod Craft, 3890 E. TR 44, Sycamore, and Todd Price, 8820 S. TR 159, Sycamore.
- For New Riegel Local School district, three to be elected: Joni Faeth, 4179 S. TR 85, New Riegel; Cynthia Hughes, 10627 W. TR 96, Alvada; and Richard Kline, 4620 S. CR 591, New Riegel.
- For Old Fort Local School district, three to be elected: Donald Ellis, 3231 E. CR 37, Tiffin; Jo Ann Miller, 841 W. CR 38, Tiffin; and Kathy Miller, 3643 E. CR 44, Green Springs.
- For Seneca East Local School district, two to be elected, Neil Bayer, 11903 E. TR 44, Attica; Barbara Weaver, 16568 E. TR 60, Attica; and Herbert Wise, 15700 E. TR 124, Attica.
