Lawrence M. Kin
Rural Tiffin resident

Lawrence M. Kin, 36, 2919 E. TR 122, died at 5:20 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 26, 1998, in St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Lucas County, Toledo, where he had been a patient for two days. Arrangements are pending at the Engle-Young Funeral Home of Green Springs.

Aleta A. Roberts
Prospect Street homemaker

Aleta A. Roberts, 85, 26 Prospect St., died at 5:49 p.m. Thursday;, Dec. 24, 1998, in Fremont Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Adrian, Seneca County, April 5, 1913, to Arthur and Lula (Kemmerly) Ruehle. On Sept. 14, 1937, in Toledo, she married Paul A. Robert, who preceded her in death Dec. 29, 1981.

Surviving are two sons, Richard P. Roberts of Klamath Falls, Ore. and Steven C. Roberts of Tiffin; a daughter, Diane Roberts of Fremont; three grandchildren; a brother, James Ruehle of Upper Sandusky; and three sisters, Mrs. Jack (Ida) Albert of Tiffin, Mrs. Carl (Etta) Lawrence of Palm Harbor, Fla. and Mrs. Clayton (Mary) Shull of Upper Sandusky.

Also preceding her in death were two brothers, John Ruehle and Robert Eugene Ruehle, who died in infancy; and two sisters, Helen Menningen and Mina Ruehle.

Mrs. Roberts, a 1932 graduate of McCutchenville High School, was a homemaker.

She was a member of the Ebenezer United Methodist Church and had lived most of her life in the Tiffin area.

The Rev. Dr. Robert E. Buckley and the Rev. Jan Kucera will be the co-officiants at the 1:30 p.m. Tuesday service in the Turner-Engle Funeral Home. Burial will be in Seneca Memory Gardens.

Visitation at the funeral home will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday and one hour before the service on Tuesday.

Memorials may be made to the Humane Society, Hospice or a charity of the donor's choice.

Alfred N. Wagner
Atlas-Cummings Inc. retiree

Alfred N. Wagner, 67, died early Saturday morning, Dec. 26, 1998, at his residence at 3536 CH 97, Carey.

He was born July 5, 1931, in Seneca County, to the late Alfred F. and Dorothy V. (Kirian) Wagner. His wife, Martha C. (Frey) Wagner, whom he married June 7, 1952, in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Kirby, survives.

Other survivors include: a daughter, Mrs. James (Diane) Junga of Ann Arbor, Mich.; three sons, Dennis Wagner of Marion, Edward Wagner of Findlay and Joseph Wagner of Raymond; 11 grandchildren; and five sisters and brothers, Mrs. Gerald (Marie) Frey of Kirby, Mrs. Lloyd (Doris) Weinandy of Alvada, Eugene Wagner of New Riegel and Mrs. Dale (JoAnn) Hoepf and Mrs. Richard (Anna) Wright, both ofTiffin.

A sister, Eileen Arbogast, is deceased.

A U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, Mr. Wagner retired in 1986 from Atlas-Cummings Inc. of Fostoria, where he had been employed for 30 years. He then worked for Precision Gears in Charleston, S.C. as a consultant and as a carpenter for RKT Construction, Kirby.

He was a member of the Basilica of Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church, Carey, where he had served on both the Parish Council and the Parish School Advisory Board and as an usher and lector.

A 1949 graduate of New Riegel High School, he also was a member of Knights of Columbus Council 1925, Carey, where he had served as past grand knight, 4th Degree K of C past faithful navigator of Archbisop Schremb's Assembly, Tiffin; American Legion Post 344, Carey and the 148th Infantry Veterans Association, where he had served as president.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Basilica of Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church, with the Rev. Peter Damian Massengill as celebrant. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Carey, where military graveside services will be conducted by the veteran's organization.

Visitation at the Stombaugh Memorial Funeral Home, Carey, will be 2-9 p.m. Monday, where the Rosary will be recited at 2 p.m. and a Scripture service will be at 8:30 p.m.

Memorials may be made to the Wyandot County Unit of the American Cancer Society or a charity of the donor's choice.

Wilford 'Bud' Parlow
Former factory worker

Wilford ''Bud'' Parlow, 88, formerly of Muncie Hollow, Fremont and Clyde, died at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 26, 1998, in Fremont Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Detroit, Mich., Dec. 13, 1910, to John and Minnie (Murray) Parlow. He had never married.

Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Eileen Phillips of Perrysburg; a half-sister, Mrs. Doris Ebert of Clyde; and a half-brother, the Rev. Paul Parlow of Greenville, Tenn.

He also was preceded in death by his step-mother, Ethel (Riemsbaugh) Parlow; and two sisters, Hazel Rogers and Alma Tibbits.

Mr. Parlow, a World War II U.S. Army veteran, had been employed as a laborer at the Kraut Company, Crown Rubber and G&W Sugar Co., all of Fremont.

He received his education in the Port Clinton schools.

Services will be 11 a.m. Monday in the Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, Clyde, with the Rev. Donald Mueller officiating. Interment will be in McPherson Cemetery, Clyde.

Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to St. Francis Villa, Green Springs or Trinity Lutheran Church, Fremont.
