Herman J. Frankart
Herman Joseph Frankart, 81, of 12995 West Twp. 112, Fostoria, died at 9:40 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 20, 2002, at his residence. He was born on Dec. 23, 1920, in Wood County to Dominic J. and Rosa M. (Kinn) Frankart, both of whom are deceased. He married Ann Josephine Naderer on Nov. 10, 1945, in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Fremont and she survives.
Survivors include: five sons, Eugene M. Frankart, Duane E. (Jeanette) Frankart, Ernest L. (Cynthia) Frankart, Dale A. (Kelly) Frankart and Donald J. (Rhonda) Frankart, all of Fostoria; six daughters, Mrs. Tom (Dottie) Rushworth of Carmel, Ind., Mrs. Phil (Judy) Helterbrand of Fostoria, Mrs. Jim (Pat) Hilker of Toledo, Mrs. Paul (Rosie) Stanley of Sandusky, Mrs. Chad (Karen) Crosby of Greenfield, Ind., and Mrs. Ed (Connie) Gross of Toledo; three sisters, Mrs. Dean (Evelyn) Krupp of Carey, Mrs. Doyle (Carolyn) Baker of Fostoria and Mrs. Charles (Norma) Russell of Elyria; 32 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were four brothers, Raymond, Harold, Arthur and Charles Frankart; and two sisters, Edna Rosendale and Margaret Faeth.
Mr. Frankart was a lifelong Seneca County farmer and founder of Frankart's Egg Farm, Fostoria. He was a member of St. Wendelin Catholic Church where he served on the Parish Council and also, the St. Wendelin Cemetery Advisory Committee. He was a third degree with the Knights of Columbus council #1197 and a member of the St. Vincent DePaul Society, Fostoria. He was also a member of the American Legion in New Riegel.
Mr. Frankart served with the 103rd Army division in World War II.
Christian Wake Service will be 8:45 p.m. at Hoening Funeral Home, Fostoria. The Rosary will be prayed at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 p.m. in the St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria. Internment will be in St. Wendelin Parish Cemetery. New Riegel American Legion will conduct military honors.
Visitation is 2-9 p.m. Tuesday at Hoening Funeral Home.

Pichler Helen DeBard
Pichler Helen (Biggs) DeBard, 74, passed away Fiday, Jan. 18, 2002. She was the beloved wife of George J., married 52 years. Loving mother of David (Juanita), Philip (Carolee) and Elaine Milko (Thomas). Dearest grandmother of Faye (mother, Charlene Pichler), Marie, Sarah, John, Matthew and Mark. Preceding her in death were parents, Naylor and Marian Biggs, and a sister, Jean Monachino.
Mrs. DeBard was a graduate of Mount Sinai School of Nursing and also a member of the D.A.R. and the Huguenot Society.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Church of Ascension, 13216 Detroit Avenue, Lakewood, Busch-Saxton-Parker-Daniels Family Chapel, 44107.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials may be forwarded to the Cleveland Visiting Nurses Association Hospice, 2500 East 22 Street, Cleveland, 44115.
Faith Ellen Boff
Faith Ellen Boff, 60, of 6456 CR 55, Gibsonburg, died at 10:15 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, 2002, at the James Cancer Center of Ohio State University Hospital, Columbus. She was born in Fostoria Jan. 22, 1941, to Harold and Elnora (Kibler) Needles, both of whom are deceased. She married Edwin R. Boff Oct.11, 1958, at St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria. He survives in Gibsonburg.
Other survivors include: a daughter, Mrs. Les (Lynn) Mintz of Gibsonburg; a sister, Joyce Drake of Tiffin; and a grandson.
Christian wake services will be at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Mann-Hare Funeral Home, Fostoria. The rosary will be recited at 10 a.m. Wednesday followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 in St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Mann-Hare Funeral Home.
