Ruth Lucille Harbour, 79, of 520 Church St., Upper Sandusky, died at 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2001 at her home. She was born on April 24, 1921 to William and Wilma (McPike) Hannum. On Dec. 30, 1939 she married C. Roy Harbour, and he survives.
Other survivors include: three sons, Ronald, Robert D. and Richard C. Harbour, all of Upper Sandusky; a daughter, Mrs. Wilma Savidge of Upper Sandusky; 10 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two step-grandchildren and four step-great grandchildren.
Deceased are: two grandchildren and her grandparents, John and Myrtle McPike, who raised her.
Mrs. Harbour graduated in the Class of 1939 at Sycamore High School. A homemaker and bookkeeper she worked as a former reporter for the former Daily Chief and Marion Star Newspapers. She was a member and former secretary of the former Belle Vernon Evangelical United Brethren Church where she was also a Sunday School Teacher and Bible School Teacher; Sycamore United Church of Christ, where she was also a Sunday School teacher; former Sycamore Enterprise Chapter Order of Eastern Star, where she was past Worthy Matron and served 10 years as treasurer; Warpole Chapter Order of Eastern Star 366, Upper Sandusky; Dendarah 10 Court of the Ladies Shrine, Toledo. She enjoyed flowers, quilting and needlework.
The Rev. Julianne Smith will officiate the 11 a.m. Saturday funeral service at the Bringman Clark & Co. Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky. Burial will be at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Sycamore.
Visitation hours are from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., tonight, at the funeral home.

Alexander Albert Mills, 4, of Sandusky CR 195, Clyde, died on Wednesday, April 18, 2001 in St. Vincent Mercy Children's Hospital in Toledo. He was born Aug. 2, 1996 in Bellevue to Todd F. and Shannon (Pugh) Mills of Clyde.
Surviving include: a sister, Victoria Mills of home; maternal grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Pugh of Clyde; paternal grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Ralph Mominec of Fremont; maternal great grandmother, Mrs. Vivian Meyer of Clyde; paternal great grandmother, Mrs. Georgia Louise Whitehead of Clyde.
Deceased are: grandfather, Albert Meyer and great grandfather, John Albert Rule.
Private family services will he held with The Rev. Jeff Nordhaus. Burial will be at McPherson Cemetery.
Visitation hours are from noon until 2 p.m. Sunday, April 22, 2001, at the funeral home.
