Nicholas Young III, 54, of Vine St., Clyde, died Wednesday, June 20, 2001 at Firelands Community Hospital in Sandusky. He was born June 13, 1947 to Nicholas and Marjorie (Zitzer) Young Jr., both are deceased. His step-father James Crum, Jr. is also deceased.
Surviving include: an aunt and uncle, August and Anna Schrader of Green Springs.
Mr. Young lived his entire life in Clyde and worked for Sandco Industries since 1972.
The Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. today at the Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home in Clyde.
Visitation hours are one hour prior to the service.
Memorials may be made to Sandco Industries and/or to the charity of the donor's choice.
Mary Louise Hoppes

Mary Louise Hoppes, 84, of 182 St. Francis Ave., Tiffin, died Wednesday, June 20, 2001 at St. Francis Home. She was born June 15, 1917 in Seneca County to Clarence and Mazel (Egbert) Sherman. On March 27, 1937 she married Gaylord P. Hoppes in Tiffin. He died Sept. 11, 1991.
Surviving include two sons, Sheldon Hoppes of Old Fort and William Hoppes of Findlay; three daughters, Susan Hoppes of Tiffin, Mrs. Martha Dryfuse of Flint, Mich., and Mrs. Mary Garay of Cygnet; a sister, Iretha Sherman of Tiffin; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Deceased are: two brothers, William and Carl Sherman.
Mrs. Hoppes was a 1936 graduate of Columbian High School and a homemaker. She was a 60 year member of "Egbert's" Pleasant Ridge United Methodist Church.
The Rev. Jared Williams will officiate the 10:30 a.m. Saturday, funeral service at the Hoffman-Gottfried Funeral Home. Burial will be at St. Jacob's Cemetery.
Visitation hours are from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., tonight, at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Pleasant Ridge United Methodist Church and/or to the charity of the donor's choice.
Barbara J. Evers

Barbara J. Evers, 67, 706 Stinchcomb Drive, Fostoria, died Wednesday, June 20, 2001 at her home. She was born March 23, 1934 to James and Vella (Broshers-Anderson) Jackson. She married Paul L. Evers. He died on April 11, 1980.
Surviving include: a son, Paul Evers of Conyers, GA.; a daughter, Mrs. Patricia A. Pullom of Findlay; five brothers, Andrew Jackson of Toledo, Conley White of of Norfolk, VA., James White, Gene Jackson, and Larry White, all of Kalamazoo, Mich.; two sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Fitch of Tiffin, and Anita White of Kalamazoo; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Deceased are: a daughter, Rose Ann Johnson; and a brother, Billy Broshers.
Mrs. Evers was a member of the First Baptist Church of Fostoria and its Mother's Board.
The Rev. T.A. Smith will officiate the 11 a.m. Saturday, funeral service at the First Baptist Church. Burial will be at Fountain Cemetery.
Visitation hours are from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., tonight, at the Mann-Hare Funeral Home in Fostoria.

Jack L. Crawford
Retired Union Carbide employee
Jack L. Crawford, 71, of East Lytle St., Fostoria, died at 10:24 p.m. at the Toledo Hospital. He was born Nov. 17, 1929 to Arthur S. and Lena M. (Hanna) Crawford, Sr. On Oct. 10, 1959 he married Nancilee Sherick. She died March 6, 1999.
Surviving include: two sons, W. Tod Crawford of Fostoria and Ricky L. Crawford of Lebanon; two daughters, Tammy L. Clark and Melanie Crawford, both of Fostoria; two brothers, Charles and Bob Crawford, both of Fostoria; four sisters, Mrs. Wanda Stevens, Mrs. Donna Fettro and Mrs. Carolyn Tolbert, all of Fostoria, and Mrs. Ann Walters of Fla.; and five grandchildren.
Deceased are: a brother, Arthur Crawford; and a sister, Bernice Keckler.
Mr. Crawford retired from Union Carbide Corporation in 1983. He was a member of Dillon Road Baptist Church in Fostoria.
The Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, at the Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home in Fostoria. Burial will be at Fountain Cemetery.
Visitation hours are from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., tonight, at the funeral home.
