Former Tiffin resident
Marjorie Grombka, 79, of 4601 E. Peachton Drive, Port Clinton, a former Tiffin resident, died at 11 p.m. Tuesday, June 27, 2000, in Mercy Hospital, Fairfield. A funeral Mass will be Saturday in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin, and visitation will be 9-10:30 a.m Saturday in the Hannay-Traunero Funeral Home. Further arrangements are pending.
Aaron M. Hille
Lakota East fifth grader
Aaron M. Hille, 10, of 1730 TR 22, Risingsun, died at 11:19 p.m. Tuesday, June 27, 2000, in St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo, following a three-wheeler accident on CR 33 in Sandusky County.
He was born July 24, 1989, in Fostoria, to Tobin L. "Toby" and Kristine "Kris" (Hiser) Hille, who survive in Risingsun.
Other survivors include: a sibling, Justin "JL" HIlle, at home; maternal grandparents, Bob and Susie Hiser of Butler, Ind.; maternal great-grandparents, Elizabeth Lehmann of Fostoria and Marion and Marcine Hiser of Clermont, Fla., and paternal grandparents, Beryl and Lila Hille of Bradner.
Aaron, who would have been in the fifth grade at Lakota East this fall, attended the First Church of God, Risingsun.
An avid fisherman and hunter, he was a member of Lakota Lasers 4-H Club, Risingsun, and the John Deere Kids Club. He also worked with ducks at Maple Leaf Farm, showed prize winning dairy steer at the Sandusky County Junior Fair and enjoyed farming.
Pastor Paul Rutledge will be the officiant at the 1:30 p.m. Friday service in the First Church of God, Risingsun.
Visitation is 6-9 p.m. today in the Hoening Funeral Home, Fostoria, and an hour before the service Friday at the church.
Memorials may be made to Sandusky County Junior Fair and Lakota Special Needs Program.
Robert Snowden
Retired truck driver
Robert Snowden, 75, of 120 Sheffield St., Bellevue, died Sunday, June 25, 2000, in the Hartland of Browning, Waterville.
He was born Jan. 20, 1925, in Castalia, to Samuel and Nina (McKeen) Snowden. On Nov. 23, 1946, in Castalia, he married Justine Douglas. She survives.
Survivors also include: a son, Robert Snowden Jr. of Shelby; a stepson, Doug Frederick of Delmont, Pa.; a daughter, Mrs. Tim (Pam) Green of Toledo, three grandchildren and four step-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mary Strack of Sandusky and Marjorie Drummond of Castalia.
Two stepsons, Larry and Lamar Frederick, are deceased.
Mr. Snowden retired as a truck driver from Norwalk Truck Lines, Interstate and Humbert.
A U.S. Navy veteran, having served as a pharmacist's mate 2nd class in the South Pacific during World War II, he was a member of Teamsters Local 20, VFW and Military Order of Cooties, of which he was a life member; and the American Legion and Moose.
Graveside services are at 11 a.m. today in the Bellevue Catholic Cemetery, where military honors will be provided by Bellevue American Legion and V.F.W. The Rev. Robert Tucceri of Immacualte Concepton Church, Bellevue, will officiate.
There will be no visitation. The Foos and Son Funeral Home, Bellevue, is in charge of arrangements.

Catherine E. White
Former Bellevue resident
Catherine E. White, 89, formerly of Kinney Street, Bellevue, died Tuesday, June 27, 2000, in the Rae-Ann Suburban Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Westlake, where she was a resident.
She was born April 6, 1911, in The Bend, Ohio, to Eurie and Christina (Breno) Laub. Her husband, Elbert B. White, whom she married Jan. 5, 1936, died in 1968.
Surviving are a son, James B. White of Westlake; two grandchildren; two brothers, James and Thomas Laub, both of Bellevue; and a sister, Mrs. Blair (Wanda) Wise, also of Bellevue.
Two brothers and two sisters, also preceded her in death.
Mrs. White was a member of the Order of Eastern Star Grand Chapter of Ohio, the former E.O. Merry Chapter 13 Order of Eastern Star, Bellevue, and Althea Chapter 438 Order of Eastern Star, Monroeville.
Visitation is noon-1 p.m. today in the Harris Funeral Home, Bellevue, where Eastern Star memorial services will be at 1 p.m.., with the funeral following. The Rev. Sandra Hutchinson, pastor of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, will officiate. Burial will be in the Grove Street Cemetery, New London.
Charles Joseph Oddo Jr.
Retired electrician
Charles Joseph Oddo Jr., 69, of 6016 Willow Drive, Vickery, died Tuesday, June 27, 2000, in the Bellevue Hospital.
He was born Oct. 24, 1930, in Bellevue, to the late Charles J. Sr. and Mary Grace (Battista) Oddo. His former wife, Marilyn Oddo, survives in Bellevue
Other survivors include: three sons, Chuck Oddo of Bellevue, Joe Oddo of Monroeville and Tom Oddo of Clyde; three daughters, Rosemarie Weisenauer of Upper Sandusky, Sherry Baum of Huron and Peggy Wollet of Lansing, Mich.; 21 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and three brothers, William Oddo of Bellevue, Carl Oddo of Attica and Richard Oddo of Columbian, Tenn.
He also was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Jean Oddo; a sister, Rosemarie Oddo and two brothers, James and Samuel.
Mr. Oddo retired as an electrician from the former Gould in Milan.
An avid golfer, having won several championships, he was a member of Club Amerital and the Immaculate Conception Church, Bellevue.
He served in the U.S. Navy and as an athletic coach for the CYO in the 1960s.
The Rev. Robert Tucceri will be the officiant at the 11 a.m. Friday service in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Interment will be in Bellevue Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation is 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today in the Foos and Son Funeral Home, Bellevue, where the rosary will be recited at 3:30 p.m.
