Ralph Richard Diekman
Father of Tiffin resident

Ralph Richard Diekman, 75, of CR. 704, Hessville, died in his home on Thursday, Sept. 27, 2001. On July 14, 1956, he married Joan Marie Schleter, and she survives.

Other survivors include: five daughters, Trenda Faye Geller, Barbara Jean Chovanec and Gina Lynn Binsack, all of Fremont, Patricia Sue Eckelberry of Tiffin, and Donna Joan Walker of Luckey; three sons, Steven Ralph Diekman, Daniel Henry Diekman, both of Lindsey, and Eric Vaughn Diekman of Medina; a brother, Melvin Diekman of Fremont; 13 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Mr. Diekman was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in World War II as a paratrooper. He was a union worker Local 55, a member of Fremont Eagles and Faith Lutheran Church. He enjoyed playing cards and fishing.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Faith Lutheran Church in Fremont. The body will lie in state one hour before the service.

Visitation hours are from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the Nopper-Veh Funeral Home in Gibsonburg. An Eagles service will be at 7 p.m., Sunday.

Sheila Sue Bailey
Former Fostoria resident

Sheila Sue Bailey, 42, of Virginia Beach, Va., formerly of Fostoria, died on Monday, Sept. 24, 2001 at Bayview Hospital in Virginia Beach. She was born Nov. 24, 1958 to Robert Gene and Virginia Sue (Stamper) Feisel. She married Claude Bailey, they were divorced.

Survivors include: her father; step-mother, Ruth A. Feisel; a daughter, Nichole of Virginia Beach; two brothers, Wayne Feisel of Cedar hill, TX. and Gary Feisel of Dallas, Tx. two sisters, Lin Thiry of Harrisonville, MO. and Leah Feasel of Fostoria; and two grandchildren.

Her mother is deceased.

Mrs. Bailey was a 1977 graduate of Fostoria High School.

The Rev. Dr. Larry W. Knigga will officiate the Memorial Services at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, at Hope Lutheran Church, Fostoria. Burial will be at Fountain Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society and/or Hope Lutheran Church Endowment Fund, both in care of the Mann-Hare Funeral Home, P.O. Box. 47, Fostoria, Ohio 44830.

Marjorie G. Sheely
Tiffin resident

Marjorie G. Sheely, 78, of 54 S. Washington St., and formerly of 10 Victoria Drive., Tiffin, died on Thursday, Sept. 27, 2001 at Elmwood at the Shawhan. Arrangements are pending at the Hoffman-Gottfried Funeral Home.
