Janet Mary Hager
Homemaker/Tiffin Glass worker
Janet Mary Hager, 70, died at 4:15 p.m. Tuesday, June 13, 2000, at her residence at 25 Duchess Court.
She was born April 25, 1930, in Tiffin, to the late John and Stella (Hoover) Fleming. On Jan. 22, 1949, in Greenup, Ky., she married Myron E. Hager. He survives.
Other survivors include: two sons, Roger Leroy Hager of Bellefontaine and Allen Eugene Hager of Fostoria; a daughter, Penny Kay Miller of Sanger, Texas; two sisters, Rosemary Cook of Tiffin and Martha Fleming of Upper Sandusky; a brother, Lawrence Albert Fleming of Upper Sandusky; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were a brother, John Lawrence Fleming; and a granddaughter.
Mrs. Hager, a homemaker, also worked for 28 years as a glass worker at the former Tiffin Glass Co.
She was a member of the First Church of God, Risingsun and Women of the Moose, Fostoria.
The Rev. Paul Rutledge will be the officiant at the 10:30 a.m. Friday service in the Hannay-Traunero Funeral Home. Burial will be in Seneca Memory Gardens.
Visitation is 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the church or Community Hospice Care, Tiffin.

Marguerite "Alice" Thomson, 75, died at 3:43 p.m. Wednesday, June 14, 2000, in St. Francis Home, where she resided. Memorial services will be announced at a later date. The Turner-Engle Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Hildred Adams, 93, a resident of the Independence House, Fostoria, died there at 4:32 p.m. Wednesday, June 14, 2000. Arrangements are pending at the Turner Engle Funeral Home.
Eugene A. 'Gene' McClory
Tiffin native
Eugene A. "Gene" McClory, 74, of 120 Center St., Crestline, died Wednesday, June 14, 2000, in the Crestwood Care Center, Shelby.
He was born Oct. 9, 1925, in Tiffin, to Carl A. and Elizabeth F. (Heilman) McClory. His mother survives in New Riegel. On Dec. 29, 1954, he married Patty Hudson, who survives.
Survivors also include: a daughter, Sherry McClory of Lima; two granddaughters and two great-granddaughters; a sister, Joyce Dell of Tiffin; and a niece and nephew.
His father is deceased.
Mr. McClory, a Crestline resident most of his life, was a watch repairman and did trade work for many area jewelers.
Memorial services will be at a later date. There will be no visitation. The Barkdull Funeral Home, Shelby, is in charge of arrangements.
Opal Ruth Noss
Rural Clyde homemaker
Opal Ruth Noss, 78, of Limerick Road, Clyde, died at her home Tuesday, June 13, 2000.
She was born Feb. 23, 1922, in Luckey, to John and Rosa (Jacobs) Helm. On Dec. 25, 1940, she married Carl M. Noss. He survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Dennis Noss of Clyde, Gary Noss of Lima and Randy Noss of Green Springs; eight grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Four brothers, William Garling, Arthur, Carl and Harvey Helm; and five sisters, Grace Reamsnyder, Lucy Schudel, Martha Hansen, Dorothy Garling and Hazel Doyle, also are deceased.
Mrs. Noss, a homemaker, graduated in 1940 from Luckey High School.
She attended Zion EUB Church, Helena, and then Calvary Baptist Church, Clyde.
She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and Women of the Moose, both of Clyde.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, Clyde, with the Rev. James Belcher officiating. Interment will be in McPherson Cemetery, Clyde.
Visitation is 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Sandusky County, South Main Street, Clyde, or a charity of the donor's choice.
James A. Perry

James A. Perry, 78, 2320 W. CR 6, died at 8:20 a.m. Wednesday, June 14, 2000, in Mercy Hospital of Tiffin, where he had been a patient for a day.
He was born Jan. 28, 1922, in McCreary County, Ky., to George K. and Minnie Perry. His wife, Helen Perry, whom he married Aug. 11, 1951, in Morgan County, Tenn., survives.
Other survivors include: a daughter, Mrs. George (Linda Sue) Brandt of Rollin Height, Calif.; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; a brother, Thomas I. Perry of rural Tiffin; and two sisters, Mrs. Donald (Dorothy) Dull of Republic and Mrs. Colman (Ortha) Cogar of Bucyrus.
Also preceding him in death were a daughter, Virginia Perry, who died at age 2; three brothers, Ancil, Coy and Preston; and three sisters, Lucy Nelson, Ethel Keith and Hazel Feight.
Mr. Perry, a member of Eagle Creek United Baptist Church, retired from the Webster Mfg. Co.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Turner-Engle Funeral Home, with Brother Combs officiating. Burial will be in Seneca Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Friday and one hour before the service Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
Doris I. Scott
Rural Tiffin homemaker
Doris I. Scott, 82, 3316 S. CR 19, died at 8:15 a.m. Wednesday, June 14, 2000, in the Ruffing Family Care Center of Tiffin.
She was born July 25, 1917, in Wyandot County, to Harry and Gladys (Proctor) Shelden. Her husband, J. Wesley Scott, whom she married Aug. 10, 1935, survives.
Survivors also include: a son, Robert W. Scott of Tiffin; two daughters, Mrs. Willis (Janice) Burnside and Mrs. Philip (Gladys) Clouse Shumway, both of rural Tiffin; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and a brother, Robert Shelden of Tiffin.
A daughter, Alice Mae Ludwig; and a brother Ermal Shelden, also are deceased.
Mrs. Scott, a homemaker, was a member of Harmony United Methodist Church and its Christian Service Sunday school class.
Also a member of TOPS 1085 Tiffin, her hobbies included raising flowers and gardening.
The Rev. David Powell will conduct the 1:30 p.m. Saturday service in the Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery, McCutchenville.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Harmony Church Handicap Accessibility Fund or Community Hospice Care,Tiffin.
At Mrs. Scott's request, the family would prefer no flowers sent to the funeral home.
Vollie Brock Jr.
Truck driver
Vollie Brock Jr., 23, 296 Charlotte St., died at 9:48 p.m. Tuesday, June 13, 2000, in St. Vincent-Mercy Medical Center, Toledo.
He was born Oct. 19, 1976, in Tiffin, to Vollie Sr. and Debra (Pennycuff) Brock. They survive in Tiffin. On June 22, 1996, in Tiffin, he married Trisha Halcomb, who also survives.
Other survivors include: two children, Vollie Edward and Alexander Wade Brock, both at home; a niece and two nephews; his grandmother, Bonnie Brock of Whitesburg, Ky.; a brother, Robert Brock of Tiffin; and a sister, Angie Burgderfer of Republic.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Henry Brock and Robert and Zella Pennycuff.
Mr. Brock, a lifetime resident of Tiffin, was employed as a truck driver for Rosenblatt. He attended Columbian High School.
The Rev. Virgil Cole will be the officiant at the 1 p.m. Saturday service in the Turner-Engle Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p..m Friday and one hour before the service Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the family, in care of the Turner-Engle Funeral home, 135 N. Washington St.
Goldie Jean Musser
Tiffin native
Graveside services for Goldie Jean Musser, 63, of 3718 Hollygreen Drive, Tucson, Ariz., who died Nov. 3, 1999, in the Clarbridge Nursing Home, Tucson, will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Fairmont Cemetery, with the Rev. William Smith officiating.
There will be no visitation.
Mrs. Musser was born April 12, 1936, in Tiffin, to the late Grant G. and Dorothea (Davis) Fuller. Her husband, Jerry Musser, whom she married in Tiffin, He survives.
Other survivors include: a son, Grant David Musser of Farmington, Mich.; and two sisters, Mrs. Carl (Dolores) Goetz of Bradenton, Fla. and Darlene Fuller of San Francisco, Calif.
A sister, Roberta Fuller, is deceased.
Mrs. Musser, a homemaker, at one time worked for a pediatrician before the birth of her son and also worked at Mercy Hospital.
A 1954 graduate of Columbian High School, she received her nurses training in Cleveland.

Memorial Mass
There will be a 10 a.m. Memorial Mass Friday at St. Mary Catholic Church for Virginia Agerter. There will be no cemetery visitation.
