John C. Reinhard Jr.

John C. Reinhard Jr., 74, of North TR 21, Fostoria, died at 1:40 p.m. Friday, June 18, 1999, at his residence.
Mr. Reinhard was born May 19, 1925, in Fostoria to John C. and Mildred (Tyson) Reinhard Sr.
He married Margaret L. Deitchman Aug. 23, 1944, in Fort Smith, Ark. She survives.
Also surviving are: two sons, John C. Reinhard III of Findlay and Brian J. Reinhard of Fostoria; a daughter, Pamela M. Adams of Wapakoneta; three brothers, Roger of Fostoria, Art of New Concord, Ray of Arcadia; three sisters, Gladys Maneke and Amy Below, both of Toledo, and Mrs. Ralph (Mildred) Cunningham of Hammansburg, Ohio; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Mr. Reinhard retired from Atlas Crankshaft Corp. in Fostoria in 1983 after more than 31 years. He was a member of High Street United Methodist Church, Fostoria; Eagles Club of Fostoria; and was an U. S. Army Veteran of WWII.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria, with the Rev. Jeffrey L. Waite officiating. Burial will be at Memory Gardens near Arcadia.
Visitation is 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Community Hospice of Seneca County or the High Street United Methodist Church Elevator Fund.
Harry E. 'Catfish' Heffelfinger
Melmore resident's father
Harry E. "Catfish" Heffelfinger, 77, formerly of 602 Baker Court, Upper Sandusky, died at 8:30 a.m. Friday, June 18, 1999, at the Wyandot Manor Nursing Home, where he had resided the last one and one-half years.
He was born Dec. 15, 1921, in Upper Sandusky to John Clyde Heffelfinger and Alberta Mae Bailey.
On Nov. 13, 1959, he married Lillian D. Young in John Stewart United Methodist Church in Upper Sandusky.
Surviving family members include: his wife; a son, Steven Young of Powell; three daughters, Mrs. Howard (Gloria) Steurer of Nevada, Mrs. Cal (Kay) Baker of Toledo and Mrs. Cayce (Debra) Smith of Melmore; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and six step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by seven brothers and three sisters. He was the last of his family.
Mr. Heffelfinger retired from Swan Rubber Co. in Bucyrus March 30, 1979, after 20 years.
He was a member of the John Stewart United Methodist Church in Upper Sandusky; Eagles 2184 of Upper Sandusky; served 14 years in the U. S. Navy during and following World War II. His hobbies included aquariums, tropical fish and working crossword puzzles. He also enjoyed working with his hands such as yard work and working in his garage.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Bringman-Clark & Co. Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky with George Kolarik officiating. Burial will be in the Old Mission Cemetery, Upper Sandusky.
Visitation will be 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with an Eagles memorial service at 8:30.
Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society or the Activities Fund of Wyandot Manor Nursing Home.
