Joanne P. Bland, 52, of 74 Franklin St., Tiffin, died in her home at 12:50 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 22, 1998. She was born May 3, 1946, to Francis and Annette (Sebastian) LaMarche in Brooklyn, NY; both parents are deceased. On March 15, 1971, she married Robert Bland in St. Mary Catholic Church in Tiffin, and he survives.
Other survivors include: two sons, Aaron Robert (Jennifer) Bland of Endicott, NY., and Joshua Arthur Bland of Tiffin; three daughters, Mrs. Jerry W. (Dawn Marie) New, Robyn Lynn Bland, and Jennifer Leah Bland, all of Tiffin; two brothers, Robert LaMarche of Niceville, FL., and Ronald LaMarche of Chantilly, VA; four grandchildren, Shauna Marie New, Brianna Marie Hronek; Kaelyn Summer Hronek, and Abigail Annette Dazey.
Mrs. Bland was a high school graduate in Highland Falls, NY. She was a homemaker and member of St. Mary Catholic Church, the Eagles Auxiliary, an avid bowler, golfer and artist.
The Rev. William Rose will officiate the 10 a.m., Monday, Oct. 26, 1998, funeral Mass at St. Mary Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery.
Visitation hours are from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Sunday, at the Hoffmann-Gottfried Funeral Home. The Rosary will be held at 8:45 p.m. Sunday and at 9:45 a.m. Monday.
Memorials may be made to Community Hospice Care or to the charity of the donor's choice.
