P.M. ... That's name enough in this area If someone in the community talks about P.M., no one asks, "P.M. who?" Because P.M. is P.M. Gillmor, even to people who haven't met him. That's the kind of reputation and stature the man has. And although he's developed a successful trucking business, overseen the expansion of a small-town bank to a chain of community banks, and become a community philanthropist, he's still the guy in the next chair at the Old Fort Lions Club. P.M. Gillmor turned 90 Monday. But his attitude, humor and accomplishments &emdash; not his age &emdash; are what set him apart. His reaching 90 years presents a good time for us all to wish him good health and even more years of perfect attendance with his fellow Lions. |
