Easter Bunny lunch a success

A tip of the Easter bonnet to the Betty Jane Center for hosting the annual "Lunch with the Easter Bunny." The annual fundraiser offers children a chance to meet with the Easter Bunny and have an enjoyable, fun-filled afternoon.

And at the same time, the event generates money for the Betty Jane Center.

Bing has served Tiffin well

A tip of the hat to John Bing, who was honored by the Ohio Park and Recreation Association this week by being named "Citizen of the Year."

Bing has served as a member of the Tiffin Park and Recreation Board for the past 20 years and served as board president for 15 years.

Bing has worked hard to help the park and recreation department grow to better serve the needs of the community. For 20 years, Bing has strived to help the parks grow.

It is great to see a person who has worked so hard to improve the community get the recognition he deserves.

Fostoria schools incorporate ethics into programs

Fostoria Community School personnel took time out this week to learn how to incorporate ethics into their lives and to extend them to their students and the community.

The training shows that not only does the school system recognize that there is a lack of character development in society, but that the school personnel are willing to make the effort to help the children in the community.
