A chance to offer to serve Wednesday editorial referred to the opportunities presented to the Tiffin City Council as it fills vacancies in the Third and Fourth ward council seats. There also is an opportunity for any qualified elector who lives in either of those wards. You have a chance to place yourself into consideration to become a council member. Sending a letter of intent, including your qualifications, to Mike Grandillo, city council president pro tempore, will do the trick. It won't guarantee anything about being selected, but it will put your hat in the ring. Ward council members, besides the legislative and committee duties, serve as liaisons between ward residents and city government. It's an opportunity to help your neighbors, as well as to bring new ideas to the council and to take part in making the community a good place to live and work. If you live in the Third of Fourth ward, think it over. WEATHER I OPINIONS I CALENDAR All information and coding is protected by copyright.
