Hats offKagy moves on to Clyde district Congratulations to Laura Kagy, principal of both Clinton and Bloomville elementaries. Kagy will be leaving her post Aug. 9 and moving her responsibilities to Clyde's Vine Street Elementary. Kagy spent eight years in the Tiffin City School district. She has done an outstanding job both as teacher and administrator. Tiffin's loss will be Clyde's gain. Adams makes history come alive Tip of the hat to Seneca County Museum director Rosalie Adams who presented a program on the Civil War to children at the Tiffin-Seneca Public Library this week. Adams dressed in the era's garb and brought items from the time to help the youngsters understand the times and the Civil War. It is great to see someone making an extra effort to help children learn in a fun and interesting way. Sentinel adds wetland Sentinel Vocational Center has received a $1,800 Wildlife Habitat Incentives Program grant from the Ohio Division of Wildlife to create a wetland behind the school. The 2 1/2-acre site will be designed to attract waterfowl and other aquatic life. The wetland will not only be a great place for wildlife, but also provide the school's agricultural department with a growing interest in environmental education.
