Walkers blessed with park pathway

There are hundreds of good things that touch our lives that we take for granted.

Among the many in Tiffin is the walking trail at Hedges-Boyer Park.

If you want to walk for exercise, there are several reasons why this paved pathway is a blessing:

• It allows Tiffinites to look ahead while they walk. Strolling the sidewalks in this city requires constant attention to the ground to avoid the breaks, ridges and holes that make almost every step an adventure.
• Unlike some other walking paths, it loops ... and there are a couple of options to the loops. Straight-line trails require retracing one's steps.
• There are places to park a car.
• There are benches on which to take a break.
• The surroundings are well kept and pleasant to the eye.

In short, it's a dandy place to walk. Every community should have one.

We'd recommend it if you haven't tried it.
