Hats off Ghosts and goblins love a parade Congratulations to the Tiffin Developmental Center's annual Halloween parade volunteers. Although it rained Sunday, the parade was enjoyed by many who came to watch and those who participated. The event is a wonderful part of the community. Seniors enjoy new passenger bus Tip of the hat to the numerous contributors who donated money to the Allen Eiry Senior Center bus fund. The $46,000, 25-passenger bus allows the seniors to ride more comfortably on their many trips throughout the year. The bus also helps keep the costs of the trips lower for the seniors so buses won't have to be rented for events. Congratulations to the many seniors who are now enjoying the new bus thanks to the generosity of the community and the hard work of the senior citizens. New program helps give students a boost A round of applause for the Academy for Life and Academic Success program now offered in Tiffin City Schools and those who created it. The new program offers one-on-one help, shorter school hours and teaches the skills necessary to have successful school habits. The program should help some students to succeed when they may not have done as well in a typical classroom.
