KANSAS -- Lakota took advantage of forfeits in the first five matches and won the first 12 matches in a 63-12 dual win over Calvert.
Lakota (17-4) got three pins. Troy Halfhill stopped Calvert's Joel Kummerer in 3:43 at 140, Brad Bloemer topped Pat Boehler in 3:26 at 145, and David Reinhart got a pin of Calvert's Chris Mathias at 171 in 3:51.
Jon Barnes (152) got a technical fall by defeating Jon Arbogast of Calvert (2-13), 19-2, and Tyler Durst was a 16-7 winner over Ron Steinmetz at 135. The Raiders also pulled out a pair of close matches. Brian Jacobs edged Briton Kimmet 5-3 at 160 and Dustin Shively won over Keven Rinaman of Calvert at 189, 6-5.
The Senecas got wins by forfeit at 215 and 275. Accepting the forfeits were Joel Borer and John Brickner. Accepting forfeits for Lakota were Matt Shultz (103), Brain Sheldrick (112), Chris Stines (119), Presley Bloom (125) and Jeff Herr (130).
Lakota is at the Willard Invitational Saturday, while Calvert is at the Elmwood Duals.
McCOMB -- Carey improved its dual record to 6-4 with a 41-34 win over McComb.
McComb started the evening with a win as Mike Ziesler pinned Carey's Matt Troiano in 3:59 at 103, and there was a double forfeit at 112. Carey tied the match with a win at 119 as Josh Courtad pinned Corey Rider in 1:09, and Garrett Bays of Carey took a forfeit at 125.
The Panthers' Jared Schall took a forfeit at 130, but Carey went ahead for good at 135, where Erica Hanna technical falled Jeff Endsley, 15-0.
Nathan Rail of McComb beat Carey's Kevin Atkins at 140, 11-1, to close the Carey lead to 17-16, but Scott Craig (pin of Ray Crist in 3:36) at 145 and Damien Swerlein (win by forfeit) at 152 gave Carey two straight wins and a 29-16 cushion.
Carey's Matt Stombaugh was pinned by Tyler Fremont in 3:55 at 160, and the same fate befell Guy Phillips (Travis Clark, 2:30) at 189 and Gabe Stansbery (Matt Yates, 1:50) at 215, but Joe Turner won by forfeit at 171 for Carey, and Chris Boes finished the evening with a win for the Blue Devils, pinning Travis George in 16 seconds at 275.
