HILLIARD &emdash; The School of Opportunity held a 29-28 lead after three quarters, but lost the Division II state championship game to Butler County, 43-34.
The game see-sawed back and forth in the fourth quarter, and Butler County took the lead for good with two minutes left. Butler held an 18-11 halftime lead.
''It was a neat experience for everybody involved,'' said Arrowettes coach Chris Englehart. ''We have 16 players, and we only had seven last year, so to most of our people playing basketball was a totally new experience.
''Even though they didn't win, they got medals and it was just a good time for everybody.''
Lisa Krause scored 13 points and Kelly Adams added 10 for the Arrowettes. Faith Connin and Mary Beth Larkins scored four points each, Susan Mull scored two and Dee Bryon scored one. The Arrowettes hit two free throws, one by Krause and the other by Bryon.
