Tiffin University baseball team splits with Madonna

Tim McDonald had four hits, including a grand slam and a double, to help Tiffin University to a 7-2 win over Madonna, Mich. and salvage a split of a doubleheader Thursday.

Joe Behlke (triple, RBI) Terrell Dixon, and Beau Parton each had two hits, and Alfredo Ortiz (double, two RBI) and Casey Smith each contributed hits.

Pat Hyme fired a complete game to notch the victory.

In the first game the Dragons were their own worst enemies, committing four errors in a 6-0 defeat.

Smith had two hits, and Behlke (double), Ryan McGee and Dixon each chipped in one.

Ryan Pogozalski pitched a complete game but suffered the loss.
