Calvert dominates Crestline

CRESTLINE -- Calvert had little trouble in handing Crestline a 5-0 defeat in boys tennis on Saturday.

The singles sweep started when Tyler Webb blanked Dustin Hughett, 6-0, 6-0, at first singles. Luke Florence posted a 6-0, 6-1 win over Chris Alexander at second singles and Walter Marchi completed the singles sweep with a 6-0, 6-0 pummeling of Chad Weaver.

The first doubles team of Mark Shutt and Alex Doepker beat Justin Gregg and Anthony Polzo, 6-0, 6-2, and the second doubles team of Chris Zoeller and Jon Guzowski was a 6-4, 6-3 winner over James Butler and Tyler Simmermay.
