Blanchard Valley League Championship

The Tiffin Eagles fell to Grand Rapids by a 10-5 count, but took second place in the Blanchard Valley League with a 20-5 record. Earlier, the Eagles had captured the division title to advance to the championship game. In the game, Dan Breyman &emdash; who suffered the loss &emdash; and Jeff Warner each lined a pair of singles. Getting one each were Ryan Keefe, Derek Kummerer, Adam Reinhart, Jere Paull and Mike Distel. Other members of the Eagles were Justin Sauber, Dustin Ritchie, Doug Graham, Dustin Frank, Anthony Theis, Ben Stover and Cory Hess. The head coach was Pete Myers, and he was assisted by Gene Breyman and Mike Frank.
