Dragons fall to AMC leader
Cedarville's John Waldo scored a goal in the 110th minute to send the Tiffin University Men's Soccer team to a 2-1 defeat and keep the Yellow Jackets atop the American Mideast Conference.
"It was a disappointing performance," Dragons coach Ian Day said. "We had plenty of offensive opportunities, but we just didn't put the ball in the back of the net."
Tiffin struck first when Carl Beck posted an unassisted goal in the 40th minute to give the Dragons a 1-0 lead.
Cedarville answered with five seconds left in the first half on a goal from Lael Bryant.
Tiffin falls to 6-2-1 overall, 3-2 in the AMC.
