United Way campaign could use a push

The goal is so close, all the campaign needs is another push.
That's the way things look for the Tiffin-Seneca United Way. The campaign is only $4,289 from the goal of $492,000. If those last few dollars come in, the campaign goal will be reahced, something that has not been realized locally for at least six years.
United Way Director Suzanne Dick-Trubee said the goal previously was reported at 93 percent at the end of December. Several foundation gifts, as well as year-end givers, gave the campaign numbers the final boost.
"We are so close,'' she said. "It would be so wonderful if we could do this (making goal) as a community.''
Acknowledging that the agency had no "rabbit in their hat,'' Dick-Trubee said those involved were "praying and asking miracles'' to reach their goal.
She praised her campaign chairman, Richard Owens, and the cabinet, for working hard on the campaign.
