School levies to appear on May
ballot
There are two Seneca County school levies that will
appear on the May 4 ballot.
The Fostoria City School District will be seeking a
0.6-mill additional tax. The levy will be for 5 years for
permanent improvements.
Hopewell-Loudon Local School District is seeking a 0.25
percent income tax. It would be continuing and be designated
for permanent improvements within the district.
Other local school levies that will be on the May 4
ballot include:
- Arcadia Local School District is seeking a 7.8-mill
renewal levy over four years for current expenses.
- Lakota Local School District is seeking an additional
0.75 percent income tax over five years for school
district purposes.
- Clyde-Green Springs Exempted Village School District
has a 1.7-mill bond issue over 25 years for additions to
South Main Elementary and a community performing arts
center to the high school building.
- Ehove Joint Vocational Schools are seeking a 0.5 mill
renewal tax for 5 years to pay for current expenses.
