Lantz is new president of FOP

The Seneca County Fraternal Order of Police has a new president and vice president for 2001.

Sgt. Scott Lantz, of the Seneca County Jail, is the president. Patrolman Rob Bour, a Tiffin poice officer, is a vice president.

They were installed as officers by State FOP President Nick Demarco during a ceremony at the Pioneer Mill.

Also at the ceremony, the Seneca County FOP recognized Wyandot County Deputy Jim Brezina, who was injured in 2000 when he was struck by a vehicle during a police chase.

Adrian Rosman, of Tiffin's Quality Inn, donated gifts which the FOP gave to Brezina.
