Margaret Herlan Busch
Former Tiffin resident
Margaret Herlan Busch, 74, of Westerville, died Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2000, in Riverside Hospital.
She was born Aug. 30, 1925, in Buffalo, N.Y., to Wesley and Gertrude Herlan.
Surviving are: a sister, Mrs. Evan (Dot) Christopher; children, Fred and Eric Busch, Tayna Ramos and Myra Busch Goetz; and grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were two brothers, John and Laurice Herlan.
Mrs. Busch, who had lived in Buffalo, N.Y., most of her life and also in Logan, Tiffin, Cincinnati and Columbus, received her bachelor's degree in journalism from Ohio University in 1975.
Her flair for language showed in her writing, reading and love of games and crossword puzzles. She helped with many of her children's activities, serving as a Cub Scout leader, Girl Scout leader and Sunday school teacher.
She also enjoyed gardening, sewing, crafts and designing jewelry.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. April 28 at the Innis House, Inniswood Metro Gardens, 940 S. Hempstead Road, Westerville.

Charles J. Baker
U.S. Marine Corps, retired
Charles J. Baker, 78, died at 9:50 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2000, at his residence at 8459 CR 140, Findlay.
He was born in Toledo Dec. 8, 1921, to Earl R. and Elsie A. (Hall) Baker. On May 11, 1946, in Tiffin, he married Helen Huth. She survives.
Other survivors include: two sons, Joseph M. Baker of Kissimmee, Fla., and William C. Baker of Findlay; four daughters, Gail Fisher, Diane Radabaugh and Linda Smaltz, all of Findlay, and Susan Wells of Mt. Blanchard; 16 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A sister, Jean Knipp, is deceased.
Mr. Baker, who served as administrator of the Marlesta Nursing Home for 20 years, retired from the U.S. Marine Corps after 24 years. He served in the Korean Conflict and in Okinawa, Japan, as well as in the United States.
He was a life member of the following: Elks Club 75, Moose Lodge 698, Eagles 2118 and AMVETS Post 21.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the Coldren-Crates Funeral Home, Findlay. Burial will be in Knollcrest at a later date.
Visitation is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Ann M. Wolfe
Native of Tiffin
Ann M. Wolfe, 90, of 14587 Maplewood Drive North, Largo, Fla., died Friday, Feb. 4, 2000 in the Sun Coast Hospital, Largo.
She was born in Tiffin Nov. 5, 1909, to Clase and Mary (Krupp) Ross. Her husband, Rolland E. Wolfe, whom she married Feb. 2, 1929, in Akron, died Feb. 10, 1988.
Survivors include: three nieces, two nephews and many grand nieces and nephews.
Two sisters, Hilda Reinhart and Emma Rex; and three brothers, Ralph, Paul and Harold Ross, are deceased.
Mrs. Wolfe, a member of St. Jermone Catholic Church, Largo, had been employed in accounting at the Ohio Edison Co., Akron. She moved to Largo in 1975 from Akron.
A memorial Mass will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in St. Joseph Catholic Church, with the Rev. James K. Say as celebrant. The rosary will be recited at 12:40 p.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
There will be no visitation. The Hoffmann-Gottfried Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.

Henry L. Luzadder Jr.
Cooper Tire employee
Henry L. Luzadder Jr., 53, of 2248 McCutchenville Road, Fostoria, died at 2:50 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2000, in the Bowling Green Manor Nursing Home.
He was born Dec. 1, 1946, in Fostoria, to Henry L. Sr. and Glada R. (Smith) Luzadder. His mother survives in Fostoria. On June 21, 1990, in the former Bethel United Methodist Church, Fostoria, he married Dawn Watson. She survives in Fostoria.
Survivors include: a son, Jacob Luzadder at home; three daughters, Ashlee Luzadder at home, Terrie Durain of Grand Rapids, Ohio, and Denise Luzadder of Fremont; two sisters, Mrs. Douglas (Nadine) Niswander and Ellen Luzadder, both of Fostoria; and five grandchildren.
His father died in April 1984, and a sister, Sophia Luzadder, also is deceased.
Mr. Luzadder, a U.S. Army veteran, having served during the Vietnam era, worked as a tire builder for Cooper Tire in Findlay. He previously had been employed at Union Carbide in Fostoria for 10 years.
Pastor Lex DeLong will be the officiant at the 10:30 a.m. Friday service in the Mann-Hare Funeral Home, Fostoria. Interment will be in Weaver Cemetery, Bloom Township, where military graveside rites will be conducted by the United Veterans of Fostoria.
Visitation is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the American Kidney Foundation.
Florence A. Fosty
Long-time Fostoria resident
Florence A. Fosty, 91, of 1335 N. Union St., Fostoria, died at 10:05 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2000, in Fostoria Community Hospital.
She was born Aug. 29, 1908, in Alvada, to Fred and Lavina (Boes) Nye. Her husband, Willis E. Fosty, whom she married May 14, 1945, in St. Peter's Catholic Church, Alvada, survives in Fostoria.
Also surviving are her mission son, Father Fabian of Uganda; a sister, Ida Arend of Findlay; and nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were three brothers, Charles, Urban and Casper Nye; and two sisters, Susan and Leona Nye.
A homemaker, Mrs. Fosty was a member of St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria, and its Rosary Altar Society.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Wendelin Catholic Church, where the rosary will be recited at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Peter Parish Cemetery, Alvada.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday in the Hoening Funeral Home, Fostoria, where the rosary will be recited at 8:30 p.m.
Memorials may be made to St. Wendelin Schools Educational Foundation.

Winona M. Overholt, 88, formerly of 1107 S. Sandusky Ave., Bucyrus, died Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2000, in the Autumnwood Care Center, following a brief illness. Arrangements are pending at the Wise Funeral Service, Bucyrus.
