NUHS one act play takes first in 2AA contest

NEW ULM -- The NUHS One Act Play, "On The Verge or the Geography of Yearning" received first place in Section 2AA competition Saturday in Glencoe.

The cast includes Meghan Austinson, Laura Anderson, Jill Reinarts, Luke Schoper, Josh Randall, Brian Mohr, Keith McClellan, Amy Waldner, Patrick Austinson, Jackie Bode, Manessa Meyer, Jenni Ricke, Audrey Mohr, Dimitri Baumgart and Samantha Waibel.

The high school actors competed against theater troupes from Dassel-CokatoHigh School, Glencoe-Silver Lake High School and Waseca High School. Dassel-Cokato placed second in the competition.

The NUHS One Act Play will now move on to State Competition in Minneapolis on Friday, Feb. 14.
