Button Holds in national publication

NEW ULM -- Country Living Magazine -- one of the nations' leading magazines featuring country decorating, antiques, cooking, remodeling and gardening -- recently contacted "Button Holds," a local manufacturer of gifts and jewelry made out of vintage buttons. The publication requested that "Button Holds" products be featured in the magazine.

Kappy Schladweiler, owner of "Weeds & Reeds", a local retail shop specializing in antique, vintage and eclectic gifts, launched the wholesale manufacturing business known as "Button Holds," in 2004.

Country Living, who scours the nation in search of creative new ideas that appeal to their vintage-loving audience, discovered and selected "Button Holds" from thousands of other product manufacturers at the New York International Gift Fair held at the Jacob Javits Convention Center last August.

Magnets made from the vintage buttons will be featured in the March 2006 issue of Country Living Magazine, available on newsstands in early this month.
