Kaiserhoff wins in OTBY JIM BASTIAN Journal Sports Writer NEW ULM -- Joey Schugel's single with two outs in the bottom of the 10th inning scored Brady Ranweiler from third and lifted the New Ulm Kaiserhoff to a 3-2 win over Milroy Sunday night in Western Minny League action. Chris Cariveau, the third of three pitchers used by the Kaiserhoff, picked up the win. Ryan Rohlik took the loss for the Yankees. Eric Austvold, Landon Rathmann and Aaron Dolan each had two hits for the Kaiserhoff. Justin Schlemmer, Brian Dolan and Scott Lavoy had two- hit games for Milroy. The Kaiserhoff (1-3; 2-3) trailed Milroy 2-0 going into the bottom of the seventh inning. The Yankees had scored a run in the first on an RBI single by John Schuh off New Ulm starter Andy Stolt. A Justin Schlemmer one-out solo home run in the third produced the other Yankee run. But in the bottom of the seventh the Kaiserhoff, who had stranded runners in scoring position in second, third and fourth innings, got to Milroy starter Mark Priegnitz for a run. Jace Marti sliced a one-out double to left field and a Schugel groundout advanced him to third. He scored when Aaron Dolan legged out an infield single to deep shortstop. New Ulm tied the game in the bottom of the ninth off reliever Ryan Rohlik. Preston Cowing singled and a Jace Marti groundout to first moved pinch-runner Jeff Dolan to second. A walk to Schugel and an infield single by Aaron Dolan loaded the bases Jeff Dolan was forced out at home on an Austvold groundout before Rohlik walked Jon Ahern to force in the tying run. Cory Ranweiler then grounded back to Rohlik to end the inning. But in the 10th, the Kaiserhoff pieced together its winning tally. Brady Ranweiler doubled to the gap in right center to end Rohlik's night on the mound. Ranweiler tagged and went to third on a Landon Rathmann fly out to medium deep right field for the first out of the inning. Schmidt fanned Preston Cowing before Jace Marti worked Schmidt for a walk. Joey Schugel went ahead in the count at 2-1 before he drilled the game-winning single.
