NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the City Council of the City of New Ulm, Brown County, Minnesota, will meet in the Council Chambers in the New Ulm Public Library, 17 North Broadway, on Tuesday, January 21, 2003 at 7:00 P.M. to consider a petition from Ron Smith requesting the annexation of property to the City of New Ulm. The legal description of the property proposed for annexation is as follows: Commencing at the Southwest corner of the SW 1/4 of the SE 1/4, Section 13, Township 110, Range 31 West, Brown County, Minnesota, thence at right angles in a northerly direction 625 feet, thence at right angles and in an easterly direction 250 feet, thence at right angles and in a southerly direction 625 feet to the centerline of U.S. Highway 14, thence at right angles in a westerly direction on and along the centerline of said Highway 14 coinciding with the South line of Section 13, a distance of 250 feet to the point of beginning. This parcel of property contains 3.59 acres, more or less. All persons in attendance will be given an opportunity to speak on this matter.
