NOTICE OF HEARING
WHEREAS, Pat Melhop has filed an application for variances for the proposed Minnesota River Valley Subdivision located in Part of the North 1/2 Section 13-T110N-R31W that would allow ten foot side yard setbacks, zero foot common wall setbacks and reduced lot area and lot width; and WHEREAS, Tim and Kristine Leshovsky have filed an application for a variance from the garage height restrictions of the City Code to permit a garage to be constructed at 327 North German Street that would be 20 feet high; and WHEREAS, Pete and Sue Rothmeier have filed an application for variances from the City Code to allow variances for lots within the proposed Lakeside Village Addition which is in a part of the northeast 1/4, Section 13, T110N11, R31W, City of New Ulm that would allow reduced lot width, lot depth and side yard setbacks for various lots with the addition; and WHEREAS, Mel Schugel has filed an application for variances from the City Code to allow a reduction in the lot width, lot area, and front yard setback requirements of the City Code for the proposed Sarah Hills First Addition in a portion of the N.E.1/4-N.E.1/4, Sec.24, T110N; and WHEREAS, the City Code requires that these matters be considered by the New Ulm Board of Zoning Adjustment. NOW THEREFORE, pursuant to the City Code, the New Ulm Board of Zoning Adjustment will meet on Thursday, January 27, 2005 at 3:30 P.M. in the City Hall Meeting Room to consider these matters. The public and all interested parties are hereby officially notified of such hearing.

NOTICE OF HEARING
WHEREAS, Melvin Schugel, Jr. has filed a petition with the City of New Ulm requesting that the City's Comprehensive Plan be modified to allow low-density residential (LDR) land uses in place of a high-density residential (HDR) land uses for the property legally described as Lot 3, Auditor's Plat of the Balance of Lot 2 of the NE 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of Section 24, Township 110 North, Range 31 West to be platted as Sarah Hills First Addition; and WHEREAS, the City of New Ulm has initiated proceedings to revise Subdivision 6, Section 9.14 of the City Code relative to fence regulations (Ordinance No. 04-016); and WHEREAS, Orlin J. Mack, Marjorie L. Mack, Dale Mack, Ruth E. Mack, Peter D. Rothmeier and Susan R. Rothmeier have filed a petition with the City of New Ulm requesting the following: 1. That the property within the proposed Lakeside Village Addition located in Part of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 13, Township 110 North, Range 31 West be rezoned from R-A (Agricultural Residential District) to: a. Lots 1-28, Block 1; Lots 2-12, Block 2; Lots 1-5, Block 3; Lots 1-5, Block 4; Lots 1-17, Block 6; Outlot A and the Park Area be designated R-1 (Single Family Residence District); b. Lots 13-18, Block 2; Lots 1-6, Block 5; and Lots 1-8, Block 7 be designated R-2 (Single and Two Family Residence District); c. Lot 1, Block 2 and Lot 9, Block 7 be designated R-3 (Multiple Family Residence District). 2. That the Comprehensive Plan for the City of New Ulm be amended to permit low-density residential (LDR) land uses in those areas designated for rezoning to R-1 and R-2, and high-density residential (HDR) land uses in those areas designated for rezoning to R-3 in place of industrial (I) and park (P) land uses. WHEREAS, the City Code requires that this matter be considered by the New Ulm Planning Commission. NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to the City Code, the New Ulm Planning Commission will meet on Thursday, January 27, 2005 at 4:30 P.M. in the City Hall Meeting Room to consider this matter. The public and all interested parties are hereby officially notified of such hearing.
