NOTICE OF HEARING
WHEREAS, Tonia Kerkoff, 411 14th North Street, has filed an
application for a Conditional Use Permit to allow the operation
of a Massage Parlor as a home occupation in her residence; and
WHEREAS, Craig Nelson, 18 Ridgeview Drive, has filed an application
for a Conditional Use Permit to allow the operation of a Taxidermy
Business as a home occupation in his residence; and WHEREAS, Brian
Tohal, on behalf of the New Ulm Economic Development Corporation,
has filed a petition with the City of New Ulm requesting that
property located in the South 1/2 of the Southeast 1/4 of Section
13, Township 110 North, Range 31 West, totaling 23.19 acres, be
annexed into the City of New Ulm as property zoned I-1 (Planned
Industrial District); and WHEREAS, Brian Tohal, on behalf of the
New Ulm Economic Development Corporation, is further requesting
that the City's Comprehensive Plan be modified to allow industrial
land uses in place of agricultural land uses for property located
in the South 1/2 of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 13, Township
110 North, Range 31 West; and WHEREAS, the City Code requires
that these matters be considered by the New Ulm Planning Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to the City Code, the New Ulm Planning
Commission will meet on Thursday, February 26, 2004 at 4:30 P.M.
in the City Hall Meeting Room to consider these matters. The public
and all interested parties are hereby officially notified of such
hearing.
