New Ulm ISD #88 announces a request for qualified bids for New Ulm Public Schools Summer 2004 Microbial, Asbestos Abatement, and Reconstruction Project. The Work of this project includes: Part I: The removal of fungal-contaminated, asbestos-containing pipe insulation, sheetrock and insulation, ceiling tile, New Ulm Senior High School, Washington Elementary and Jefferson Elementary School. Part II: The rebuilding/replacement of removed materials, associated building materials, and mechanical system components. The project is expected to begin on or about June 7, 2004, and be completed by August 13, 2004. The Owner has arranged for a mandatory pre-bid site visit and conference to be held on March 9, at 9:00 a.m. Contractors will meet in the New Ulm District Office Conference Room, 400 South Payne Street, New Ulm, Minnesota. Following the pre-bid, construction sites will be available for viewing until 5:00 p.m. Follow-up site visits must be coordinated through Scott McPhee, IEA, 610 North Riverfront Drive, Mankato, Minnesota- Phone 507-345-8818. Specifications, including Bid Form will be available at the Meeting for a non-refundable fee of $25.00 each. Bids are due no later than 1:00 p.m., on March 22, 2004. Bids will be opened before the public at this time. Faxed bids will not be accepted. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids.

NOTICE OF ANNUAL MEETING AND ELECTION OF OFFICERS

Notice is hereby given to the qualified voters of Sigel Township, County of Brown, State of Minnesota that the Annual Election of Town Officers and Annual Town Meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 9, 2004. In case of inclement weather, the meeting and election may be postponed until the third Tuesday in March. The Annual Meeting will commence at 3:00 pm to conduct all necessary business prescribed by law. The Election poll hours will be open immediately after the Annual Town Meeting until 8:00 pm, at which time the voters will elect: One Supervisor, One Clerk. The Annual Election and Meeting will be held at the Sigel Town Hall.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the City Council will consider ordering property owners to construct: Sidewalk Installation (1) North Highland Avenue from 5th to 7th North Street (east side); (2) South Minnesota Street from 16th to 20th South Street (uncompleted both sides); (3) North Jefferson Street from 17th to 19th North Street (uncompleted east side); (4) 17th North Street from Franklin to Jefferson Street (uncompleted south side); (5) North Franklin Street from 12th to 13th North Street (uncompleted east side); (6) 9th South Street from Payne to Jefferson Street (both sides); and (7) 13th South Street from Washington to State Street (uncompleted north side). at a meeting to be held at the Council Chambers in the New Ulm Public Library in said City on Tuesday, March 16, 2004 at 7:00p.m., and at such meeting the Council will first examine and consider such order, and thereupon, whether such improvement shall be made or not.
