The State of Minnesota, Department of Natural Resources will receive sealed bids for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, transportation and all else necessary to complete landscaping work at Fort Ridgely State Park amphitheater area, located at 72158 County Rd 30, Fairfax, MN 55332. The work is to include but not limited to installing 500 sq. ft. of granite pavers (seating aisles), 375 sq. yds. of Class 2 aggregate surfacing (trails, roads and parking), replace 12 concrete seating pedestals and 65 wood bench tops (65 ash planks to be furnished by owner), relocate up to 8 cu. yds. of topsoil due to erosion, topsoil, seed, and mulch 1,500 sq. yds. Work is to be completed according to the contract specifications including drawing plan sheets 1, 2, and 3 (sheet size 17"x11") included in the back of the specification booklet. In accordance with Minnesota Statutes, Certified Targeted Group (T.G.) bidders will receive a 6% preference on the award of this bid. Certified Economically Disadvantaged (E.D.) bidders will receive 4% preference on the award of this bid. All T.G. or E.D. bidders must be certified by the time the bid is submitted. State of Minnesota County of Brown Township of Cottonwood Seeking Quotes
The Cottonwood Township Board is seeking quotes for the following road maintenance for the period of May 1, 2004 through April 30, 2005. 1. Snow Plowing 2. Chloride sand material and delivery of/to all Cottonwood Township roads. 3. Summer grading 4. Crushing, loading and hauling 4000 yards (more or less) of crushed class 5 gravel, to be placed on Cottonwood Township roads. The gravel must meet DOT specifications for crushed class 5 gravel. The contractor must have sufficient equipment to place the gravel on the Township roads in no more than 10 consecutive working days. The start date must be approved by the Township Supervisors and must be completed no later than June 30, 2004. The township reserves the right to have the trucks weighed to certify the amount being hauled. 5. The mowing of township ditches by the mile. The first top cut of no less than 5 feet must be completed no later than June 20, 2004. The second cut must be started and completed during the month of October 2004. The Township is also seeking quotes for the following WWTF lagoon maintenance. 1. The lagoon area must be mowed every 30 days starting May 2004 through October 2004. 2. The lagoon must be sprayed for weed control once in May 2004 and again in August 2004. Certificate of insurance must be included with quote.
