NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the City Council of the City of New Ulm, Brown County, Minnesota will conduct a Public Hearing on Tuesday, July 6, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. for the purpose of obtaining citizen views regarding a proposed Job Opportunity Building Zone (JOBZ) Business Subsidy Agreement between the City of New Ulm and the New Ulm Precision Tool, Inc. The Public Hearing will be held at the Council Chambers located in the basement of the New Ulm Public Library.

INVITATION FOR BIDS

The Brown County Sheriff's Office is seeking bids for a food service contract, for its 56-bed adult detention facility. Bids must be post marked no later than July 20th, 2004 and mailed to: BROWN COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE ATTN: CAPTAIN PAUL M. WIELAND, PO BOX 877, 15 SOUTH WASHINGTON STREET, NEW ULM, MN 56073 Specifications in part include the following: 1) Proposed bids must be submitted in a cost per meal format. 2) Inmates will be fed 3 times per day, 365 days per year including holidays. Vendor must also be able to provide cold lunches for inmates on work release programs. 3) Food Service to the Brown County Jail must meet the requirements of the Minnesota Department of Corrections 2911 Rules Governing Jail Facilities. 4) Handling of food service must comply with the Minnesota Department of Health regulations. 5) Contract duration must be a minimum of 3 years. 6) The vendor will provide any equipment necessary in addition to what is currently in place in the kitchen. 7) All meals will be prepared on site. Brown County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive formalities therein and to select the bid deemed most advantageous to Brown County. Bids will be opened July 27th, 2004 at the Regular County Board of Commissioners meeting. DATED JUNE 15th, 2004

MILFORD TOWNSHIP RESOLUTION NO. 2004-1 RESOLUTION TO ESTABLISH "SUBORDINATE SERVICE DISTRICT"

Whereas, a Petition was filed on May 13, 2004, to create a Subordinate Service District and a Public Hearing was held on June 3, 2004, to consider said District and the Milford Township Board of Supervisors decided it to be in the best interest of the landowners of said area described. Be it therefore resolved, the Milford Township Board of Supervisors, Brown County, Minnesota do hereby establish a Subordinate Service District pursuant to Minnesota Statutes section 365A with the following specifications. A. The following Subordinate Service District is created and established for the following area described herein below: Warehouse Lots One thru Eleven, Lots A & B of Gov't. Lot 1, Lots A & B of Gov't. Lot 2, Lot 2, Lot 1 of Gov't. Lot 1 Fleck's Subdivision, Part of Gov't. Lot 1 that lies between Twp. 250 and Third St., All of The Essig Community Park, and Lot 1A of the NE1/4, Blocks One (1), Two (2), Three (3) and Four (4), Except Lots 10, 11, & 12 of said Block Three. All in Section 19-110-31. Sublots F, C1, C2, D and B1 of Gov't. 16 in Section 18-110-31. B. The purpose of the Subordinate Service District is to provide a waste water treatment facility. C. The service provided by the Subordinate Service District will be financed by a combination of property taxes and user fees. D. The Milford Township Board of Supervisors will approve rules and regulations recommended for the operation and maintenance of the District by the representatives of the Subordinate Service District.
