   Daniel A. Grosam, 76, of rural Gibbon died Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2001, at New Ulm Medical Center.
   Mass of Christian burial is 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Willibrord's Catholic Church in Gibbon with burial in the church cemetery.
   Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Friday and 7:30 - 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in Gibbon. There will be a parish prayer service at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
   He is survived by his wife, Adeline Grosam of rural Gibbon; daughters, Linda Grosam, Cindy Ahlbrecht and her fiancé Galen Elwood, all of Gibbon; sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Jeannine Grosam of Gibbon and Gary and Roberta Grosam of New Ulm; seven grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; sisters, Amelia Sauser of Lakeville and Rosaria Harris of Winsted; and brother, Walter Grosam of Cedar Lake, Ind.
    He was preceded in death by his parents; infant grandsons, Christopher, Joey and Travis Grosam; sisters, Elsie Olson, Veronica Kokesch, Myra Kokesch and Florimunda Wendorf; and brothers, Leo, Ambrose, Clarence and John Grosam.
   He was born Aug. 26, 1924, in Severance Township, Sibley County, to John G. and Anna (Schwab) Grosam. He attended country school in the Gibbon area and Holy Trinity Catholic School in New Ulm. He married Adeline Leske on Aug. 9, 1949, at St. Willibrord's Catholic Church in Gibbon. They farmed in Severance Township, Sibley County, for 60 years until ill health forced his retirement. He also was a bundle delivery route driver for the New Ulm Journal for the last ten years. He was a member of St. Willibrord's Catholic Church.

   Thomas Bowles, 91, or rural Vernon Center, died Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2001, at Valley Lutheran Hospital, Mesa, Ariz.
   Arrangements are pending with Pilgrim Funeral Home, Madelia.

   Dora Rieke, 85, of the Community Health Care Center in St. Peter, died Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2001, at Immanuel-St. Joseph Hospital in Mankato.
   Services are pending with Minnesota Valley Funeral Home, Gibbon.

   Everetta Wenner, 95, of Springfield, died Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2001, at St. John Lutheran Home, Springfield.
   Arrangements are pending with Sturm Funeral Home, Springfield.
