   Grant W. Anderson , 79, of Winthrop, died Monday, Jan. 3, 2000, at Glencoe ARea Health Center.
   Services are 11 a.m. Friday at Bernadotte Lutheran Church, Bernadotte Township, Nicollet County, with burial in the church cemetery. The Winthrop Honor Guard will conduct military rites.
   Visitation is 4-7 p.m. Thursday and 7:30-8:30 a.m. Friday at Dalin-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Winthrop; and continues one hour before the service Friday at the church.

   Norbert L. Deml, 84, of 419 S. Jefferson St., in New Ulm died Monday, Jan. 3, 2000, at Sleepy Eye Care Center.
   Mass of Christian burial is 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in New Ulm with burial in the Catholic Cemetery.
   Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and 7:30-10:30 a.m. Thursday at Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm. There will be a parish prayer service at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
   He is survived by his wife, Marie Deml of New Ulm; sister-in-law, Rose Deml; niece, Myrtle Wolf; nephews, Joseph Deml, and Leo and his wife Helen Zangl, all of New Ulm; and by great-nieces and great-nephews.
   He was born on Aug. 1, 1915, in New Ulm to Joseph and Clara (Gales) Deml. He attended New Ulm Public School and Holy Trinity Catholic School. He married Marie Gales on Dec. 10, 1943 at Florence, S.C. He worked at the Eagle Roller Mills in New Ulm and New Ulm Telecom for 27 years. He retired in December of 1979. He was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church in New Ulm.

   Anna R. Vogl, 98, of Morgan died Monday, Jan. 3, 2000, at Gil-Mor Manor in Morgan.
   Mass of Christian burial is 11:30 a.m. Friday at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Morgan with burial in the church cemetery.
   Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Thursday with a 4:30 p.m. CCW rosary, a 6:30 p.m. Catholic Aid rosary, and a 7 p.m. parish prayer service, and continues 8:30-11 a.m. Friday, all at Nelson Funeral Home in Morgan.
   She is survived by children and their spouses: Donald and Marilyn Vogl, Frank Vogl, Gerald and Marilyn Vogl, all of Morgan, Delores and Harold Seifert of Minneota, Alice and William Zaske of Maple Lake, Thomas and Carol Vogl of Monticello; 17 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and sister Eleanor Lohaus of Morgan.
   She was preceded in death by her husband in 1975; one son, one daughter, six brothers, and eight sisters.
   She was born Dec. 23, 1901, in Morgan Township, Redwood County, to Frank and Magdalene (Marks) Heiling. She attended St. Michael's Schools. She married Frank Vogl, Sr., on Nov. 22, 1921, at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Morgan. They farmed in Morgan Township. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, CCW, CAA. She did mission sewing.

   Elsie Kokesch -- Additional survivors of Elsie Kokesch are sisters-in-law, Eleanor Ubl and Eva Kokesch, both of New Ulm, and Erna Kokesch of Willmar

   Florence E. Britt, 88, of Wayzata, formerly of Wabasso, died Friday, Dec. 31, 1999, at Hillcrest Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Wayzata.
   Services are 1:30 p.m. Thursday at St. John's Lutheran Church in Vesta with burial in the Vesta Cemetery.
   Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Kulow Funeral Service in Echo is handling the arrangements.
   She is survived by sisters, Evelyn Sackl of Vesta and Altha Simning of El Cajon, Calif.; sister-in-law, Mary Sakl of Minneapolis; and seven nieces and nephews.
   She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers Ervin and Leonard Sakl; sisters Viola Gertjejansen, Ione Starr, Irene Johnson.
   She was born Feb. 22, 1911, in Wabasso to Joseph and Mathilda (Kurtz) Sackl. She attended country school followed by nurses training in Marshall. She worked at a T.B. sanitarium in northern Minnesota before moving to Seattle, Wash. where she met and married James Britt. They moved to San Francisco, Calif. where she continued to work in various nursing homes until retiring. She moved back to Minnesota in 1986 and lived at Hillcrest Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.
