   Reinhold H. Lampe, 96, of Arlington died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 1999, at Arlington Municipal Hospital.
   Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Arlington with burial in Brown Cemetery in Henderson. A prayer service will be 8 p.m. today at Fenske Funeral Home. Arrangements were made with the Fenske Funeral Home in Arlington.
   Visitation is 4-8 p.m. today at Fenske Funeral Home with a prayer service at 8 p.m. Visitation continues one hour before service Friday at the church .
   He is survived by daughters and son-in-laws, Eleanor and John Paulmann of Gaylord, Janice and Ronald Renneke of Fulda, Charlene Thoemke of Roseville and Charlotte Lampe of St. Paul; eight grandchildren. six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Frieda Neubarth of Edina.
   He was preceded in death by his wife, Emma on March 2, 1997; sister Lydia Mueller; tow brothers in infancy; daughters, Darlene and Karen Boll.
   He was born on Aug. 8, 1902 in Henderson, to Carl and Ernstin (Riebe) Lampe. He married Emma Neubarth on Sept. 16, 1930 at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Arlington. They farmed in Arlington Township until 1960 when they moved to Arlington. He worked at Nagel Packing, Arlington Cement Works and the Arlington Municipal Hospital.

   Albert L. Bruss, 89, of 1401 N. Jefferson in New Ulm died tuesday at the Sleepy Eye Hospital.
   Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in New Ulm with burial in the City Cemetery.
   Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Friday and 7:30-8:30 a.m. Saturday at Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm and continues one hour before the services Saturday at the church.
   He is survived by his wife, Grace Bruss of New Ulm; daughter, Phyllis Bruss of Chanhassen; sons and daughters-in-aw, James Bruss and Susan of New Ulm, Keith Bruss and Jody of Apple Valley, Lynn Bruss and Jean Whitman of St. Paul; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters and brother-in-law, Louella Saeger of Granite Falls, Adele Vogt and Ed of Plymouth; sister-in-law, Viola Bruss of Edina; brothers and sisters-in-law, Delbert Bruss and Ruth of Milwaukee, Orville Bruss and Evelyn of Minneapolis, Leonard Bruss and Marge of Echo.
    He was preceded in death by twin sister Emilie Prestegard; brothers, Walter and Ervin Bruss, and sister, Erna Christianson.
   He was born Nov. 5, 1909, in Echo to Albert and Emilie (Bahn) Bruss. He attended St. Luke's Parochial School and Morris Agricultural School. He married Grace Borning on Sept. 9, 1936 in Echo. They farmed for several years. They moved to rural Hanska in 1939, where they farmed. He won several awards for his progressive farming practices, including the Brown County Soil Conservation Individual Award in 1966. He retired from farming in 1977 and moved to New Ulm. He was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church, a former board member and member of the Lake Hanska Lutheran Church. He served on the Lake Hanska Township Board Member and the board of directors of Madelia Luther Memorial Home.
   In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the donor's choice.

   Alma L. Duenow, 81, of Fairfax, died on Wednesday, Jan. 13, 1999, at New Ulm Medical Center.
   Services are 3 p.m. Saturday at St. John Lutheran Church in Fairfax, with burial in the St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Cairo Township, Renville County.
   Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Friday, and 4 7:30 a.m. to noon at Hauser-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Fairfax and continues one hour prior to the time of services Saturday at the church.

   Virginia Grussendorf, 74, of Litchfield, died Monday, Jan. 11, 1999, at her home.
   Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Peace Lutheran Church in Cosmos with spring burial in Peace Lutheran Cemetery in Cosmos.
   Visitation is 4:30-8 p.m. Friday at Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home in Litchfield and also one hour prior to services at the church.
   She is survived by daughter; Jan (Dave) Jutz of Litchfield; son Randy (Sherry) Grussendorf of Bloomington; and five grandchildren.
   She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; one brother, Raymond Nieberle.
   She was born March 21, 1924 in McLeod County to William and Eunice (Vokal) Nieberle. She attended country school. She graduated from the Abbot Northwestern Nursing School in Minneapolis. She married Robert Grussendorf in Minneapolis. They lived in Cosmos where he owned the Day Light Tavern. She worked as a surgical nurse in Hutchinson and later at the Litchfield Medical Clinic. In 1972 they moved to Litchfield. She Virginia worked in hospitals in Florida during their winter stays. She also served as a private home care Registered Nurse to area residents in Minnesota.She was active as a Girl Scout volunteer in Minnesota and Florida. She was also active in the Meeker County 4-H and received the "Friend of 4-H award."

   Tiffini Lynn Sturm, 19, of Cooper Landing, Alaska, formerly of Springfield, died Monday, Jan. 11, 1999 in Slodatna, Alaska.
    Mass of Christian burial is 11:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Raphael's Catholic Church in Springfield, with burial in St. Raphael's Catholic Cemetery in Springfield.
    Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Friday and 7:30-11 a.m. Saturday at Sturm Funeral Home in Springfield. There will be a St. Anne's CCW rosary at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church.
   She is survived by her parents, Richard and Alicia Sturm of Springfield; brothers, Matthew of Springfield and Todd of Brookings, S.D.; sister, Meggan and her fiance Adam Schaefer of Springfield; special friend, Willie Sloan of Cooper Landing, Alaska; maternal grandmother, Jeanne Severson of New Ulm; paternal grandparents, Norbert and Bernice Sturm of Springfield; and paternal great-grandfather, Ben Braulick of Sleepy Eye.
   She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Alfred Severson and great-grandparents.
   She was born March 5, 1979, in Springfield to Richard and Alicia (Severson) Sturm. She attended St. Raphael's Catholic School and graduated from Springfield High School in June 1997. While in high school, she was involved in speech, H.O.S.A., choir and was a fourth-grade tutor. She was a member of St. Raphael's Catholic Church, where she taught religion classes, was a lector and was involved in various church activities. She worked at St. John Lutheran Home from 1995 until 1996. Following graduation, she moved to Alaska. She worked at Summit Lake Lodge in Moose Pass where she managed the gift shop and ice cream parlor and worked in housekeeping for the past three years.

   Gerald 'Jerry' W. Hansen, 70 of Winthrop died Monday, Jan. 11, 1999 at Arlington Municipal Hospital.
   Services are 2 p.m. Thursday at First Lutheran Church in Winthrop with burial in Ft. Snelling National Cemetery at a later date. The Winthrop Honor Guard will provide military rites at the church.
   Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are through Dalin-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Winthrop.
   He is survived by wife, Mildred of Winthrop; daughter and son-in-law, Sandi and Albert Lee; son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Traci Hansen of Coon Rapids; and four grandchildren.
   He was preceded in death by granddaughter Dawn; brother Glenn Hansen; brother-in-law Robert Brown.
   He was born Dec. 9, 1928, in Minneapolis to Glenn L. and Olga (Mickelson) Hansen. He graduated from high school in Minneapolis. He worked at Dayton's until he was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1950. He was trained as a paratrooper at Ft. Campbell, Ky., and served in Korea. He was honorably discharged in 1952. After his return to Minnesota, he attended Dunwoody Institute. He married Mildred Brown on March 17, 1951 at First Lutheran Church in Faribault. They lived in Richfield until 1963 when they moved to Winthrop where he worked at Heuer Plumbing and Heating and later B&R Plumbing and Heating. He also worked in New Ulm and in Young America. He worked at Hands, Inc. until retiring in 1997. He was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Winthrop. He was a member, and former commander of the Winthrop American Legion Post 314 and was active in district and department programs. He was a member and former Chef de Gare of the 40/8 of Hutchinson. He was also a member of Sibley County Choral Society and First Lutheran Church choir.

   William H. Little, 82 of Sleepy Eye, formerly of Morton died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 1999 at the Sleepy Eye Hospital.
   Services are 7 p.m. Monday at Nelson Funeral Home in Redwood Falls with burial at a later date.
   Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Monday at the Nelson Funeral Home in Redwood Falls.
   He is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and James Burk of Milton, Wash., Mary and Bruce Hippert of New Ulm; sons, John Claude of Missoula, Mont., Dr. Tom Anderson of Tallahassee, Fla.; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Arlie Wheeler and Mary Chabot both of Duluth.
   He was preceded in death by son, William Lawrence; daughter, Mary Sue; and brother. James.
   He was born May 6, 1916 in Superior, Wis. to Claude and and Gertrude (Sailstad) Little. He grew up in Duluth and attended Central High School. He served with the Railroad Division and the U.S. 7th Army during World War II, in North Africa and Italy under General George Patton. He married Mary Nicholson. They lived in Whitefish and then Spokane, Wash. before moving to Great Falls, Mont in the 1950s. He married Alma Joyce Hassinger on Dec. 23, 1960. They lived in Great Falls, Mont. for 11 years before moving to Chicago, Ill., He worked for Great Northern/Burlington Northern railroad for 43 years, retiring in 1975 and moving to Morton. He was a member of the Morton United Methodist Church. He was a master bridge player.

   Ethelyn "Edie" L. Schreiner, 84 of Atwater, formerly of Winthrop died Sunday, Jan. 10, 1999 at Mesa General Hospital in Mesa, Ariz.
   Memorial services are 11 a.m. Saturday at First Lutheran Church in Winthrop with a spring burial in the Winthrop Cemetery.
   Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church Saturday. Arrangements are handled by Dalin-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Winthrop.
   She is survived by husband, Alfred of Atwater; sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas and Pat Schreiner of Rapid City, S.D., Steven and Sherry Schreiner of Sleepy Eye; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a niece.
   She was preceded in death by son, Gerald Schreiner; grandson, Gerald Schreiner, Jr.; sister, Phyllis Olson; brothers, Larry and Wyman Edmund.
   She was born Aug. 14, 1914 in Atwater to Emil and Alice (Anderson) Edmund. She grew up in Atwater and attended school there. She received a bachelor's degree in elementary education from St. Cloud State University and taught in Nicollet. She married Alfred Schreiner June 16, 1942 in Oklahoma City, Okla. They lived in Winthrop where she taught at Winthrop Public School. They owned and operated Schreiner's Meat Market, formerly City Meat Market. She retired from teaching in 1975, and the couple continued to operate the market until 1980. She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Winthrop, where she was active in WELCA. She was also a member of the Winthrop American Legion Ladies' Auxiliary.

   Norma Kepler, 78 of Springfield died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 1999 at St. John Lutheran Home in Springfield.
   Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at St. John Lutheran Home Chapel in Springfield with burial in the St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery in Springfield.
   Visitation is 9-11 a.m. Saturday at St. John Lutheran Home Chapel. Arrangements are handled by Sturm Funeral Home in Springfield.
   She is survived by sister, Hertha Nielson; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Bittler, Lucille Sandbo, all of Springfield; brother-in-law, Hans Sondergaard of Westbrook; nieces and nephews.
   She was preceded in death by husband, Murton in 1982; brothers, Edward and Harry Bittler; sisters, Lillian Sondergaard; and twin sisters in infancy.
   She was born Feb. 22, 1920 in Springfield to Herman and Louise (Arndt) Bittler. She graduated from Springfield High School in 1937. She attended cosmetology school, and then she moved to California. She married Murton Kepler on Nov. 11, 1945, in Clark City, Nevada. The lived in California where she worked as a beautician. She returned to Springfield in 1989. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Mary Martha Circle and Springfield Senior Citizens.

   Vivian Trocke, 69, of Arlington, died Wednesday, Jan. 13, 1999, at Winthrop Good Samaritan Center.
   Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Zion Lutheran Church, Arlington with burial in the church cemetery.
   Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Friday and one hour before services Saturday at the church.
   Arrangements are handled by Johnson-McBride Funeral Chapel in Glencoe.

   Hilma Peterson, 82, of Olivia, died Wednesday, Jan. 13, 1999, at Olivia Health Care.
   Arrangements are pending with Hauser-Hantge Chapel in Fairfax.

   Albert H. Laabs, 88, of Hugo, died Jan. 13, 1999, at Wyoming, Minn.
   Services are pending at Dalin-Hantge Funeral Chapel, Winthrop.
