Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Redwood Falls with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Monday with a 5:30 p.m. rosary, and 8-10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Nelson Funeral Home in Redwood Falls. She is survived by her husband; sons and daughter-in-law Paul and Susan Deprez of Lucan, Mark Deprez of Las Vegas, Nev., John Deprez and special friend Nicole Sciesing of Sioux Falls, S.D.; daughters and sons-in-law Linda and Philip Kline of Prior Lake, Susan and Joseph Berscheid of Fergus Falls, Greta and Daniel Liebl of Omaha, Neb., Janet and Rodney Kubesh of Oskaloosa, Iowa, Rosa Seiffert and James Wade of Papillio, Neb., Irene and Felix Martinez of N. Richland Hills, Texas; 13 grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law Roger and Alice Leeman, Gerad and Yolande Leeman, Marcel Leeman, all of Belgium; sisters and brother-in-law Alice Louwagie of Cottonwood, Marcia and Willy DePover of Belgium. She was preceded in death by sister Rita Leeman. She was born Aug. 16, 1932 in Belgium to Leon and Martha (Louwagie) Leeman. She married Valeer Deprez Nov. 27, 1956 in Women, Belgium. They farmed in Lyon County near Green Valley and then rural Lucan before moving to Redwood Falls in 1996. She was a member of St. Catherine's Catholic Church and was very active at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Lucan. George J. Fidler, 90 of Lamberton died Wednesday, January 13, 1999 at the Springfield Hospital. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday at St. Jospeh's Catholic Church in Lamberton with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Sunday with a 7:30 p.m. prayer service and Monday one hour prior to the service all at the church. Arangements are through Kurlow Funeral Home in Westbrook. He is survived by daughters and sons-in-law Barb and Bob Peterson of Lamberton, Mary and Dave Sell of Bloomington; Diane and Richard Estum of Madison, Geri Fidler of Mankato, Janell and Kevin Rhoda of Brainerd, Eileen and Ernie Graves of Renville; son and daughter-in-law Alan and Alic Fidler of Bel Air, Md.; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by wife Dorothy. He was born Dec. 26, 1908 in Lamberton to Henry and Catherine (Estum) Fidler. He served in the U.S. Army's 81st Wild Cat Division during World War II and received the Purple Heart and two Bronze Stars. Following his tour of duty, he married Dorothy Maney. He married Dorothy Meind Guhlke Dec. 1, 1956. He farmed until 1973 when he entered semi-retirement and moved to Lamberton. He worked in a tiling business and in the maintenance department for the city of Lamberton. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and the Lamberton American Legion. Hilma Peterson, 82 of Olivia died Wednesday, January 13, 199 at the Olivia Health Care Center. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Swedlanda Lutheran Church in Palmyra Township, Renville County with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday 7:30-8:30 a.m. at the Hauser-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Fairfax and one hour prior to services at the church. She is survived by niece Karla Haider and husband Jim of Hanover; Nephew David Boyum and wife Jan of Champlin; sister-in-law Gloria Peterson of Hutchinson; other relatives. She is preceded in death by sisters Desideria and Florence Peterson, Mabel Boyum, Anna Pauline Peterson; brothers Isadore, Bernard, Oliver, and Reuben Peterson. She was born Mar. 15, 1916 in Bandon Township, Renville County to Albin and Christina (Anderson) Peterson. She attended country school and continued her education at teachers training. She taught at St. Louis Park schools for over 30 years.
