   Richard Ullery
, 79, of Windom, died Friday, Jan. 21, 2000, at his winter home in Mesa, Ariz.
   Memorial mass is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Windom, with burial in Graceland Park Cemetery, Sioux City, Iowa.
   Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Friday at Anderson-Schmidt Funeral Home, Windom.
   He is survived by his wife Margaret; sons, Charles and wife Mary of Rosemount, John of Minneapolis, and Mark and wife Sue of New Ulm; daughter, Kate Fisk and husband Mike of Fort Smith, Ark.; brothers, Don and wife Martha of Tucson, Ariz. and Jack and wife Joan of Lafayette, Calif.; sister Dorothy White of Faribault; six grandsons; three granddaughters; and two great-granddaughters.
   He was born June 2, 1920, in Sioux City, Iowa, to Oscar and Elsie Ullery. He grew up in Wakonda, S.D. and Marshall. He graduated from Marshall High School in 1938. He served in the United States Navy from 1942 to 1946, achieving the rank of Lt. Commander. He served as a fighter pilot and later as a flight instructor. He attended college at the universities of South Dakota and Kansas, and was a graduate of the Illinois School of Optometry. He practiced optometry in Slayton for nearly 40 years. He married Jane Dobler on June 1, 1948. She died in 1983. On Nov. 3, 1991, he married Margaret Neuschwander of Windom. He was a charter member of Slayton Kiwanis Club. He was a member of the American Legion and St. Francis Xavier Church, Windom.

   Mary Roberts, 72, of Sleepy Eye, died Monday, Jan. 24, 2000, in New Ulm.
   Services are 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Sturm Funeral Home, Sleepy Eye, with burial in the veterans section of Home Cemetery, Sleepy Eye.
   Visitation is 4-8 p.m. today and 7:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. There will be a parish prayer service at 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
   She is survived by her husband, Merrill "Mickey" of Sleepy Eye; son, Bill and wife Brenda of Sleepy Eye; daughter, Sharon Henrichs and husband James of Sleepy Eye; daughter-in-law Sharon Roberts of New Ulm; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters, Emma Konz and husband Eugene of New Ulm, and Angie Tauer and husband Ervin of New Ulm; and brothers, Wally Eckstein of Amarillo, Texas and George and Jo Ann Eckstein of Sleepy Eye.
   She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Richard; daughter, Connie; three sisters; and five brothers.
   She was born March 4, 1927, in Albin Township to Joseph and Emma (Neidecker) Eckstein. She attended country school and St. Mary's High School. She worked at Stork's in New Ulm. She married Merrill "Mickey" Roberts on May 31, 1947, in Aberdeen, S.D. The couple settled in Sleepy Eye. She worked at Del Monte and Pietrus Foods. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church

   Florian J. Helget, 88, of Springfield died Saturday, Jan. 22, 2000, at St. John Lutheran Home in Springfield.
   Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Raphael's Catholic Church in Springfield with burial in the church cemetery.
   Visitation is 4-8 p.m. today with a 7 p.m. parish prayer service, and 7:30-9:30 a.m. Thursday at Sturm Funeral Chapel. A men's rosary will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at the church.
   He is survived by his wife, Leona of Springfield; sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth and Sally Helget of Springfield, Kevin and Sue Helget of Franklin; daughters and sons-in-law, Marge and Randi Martinson of Fairmont, Lois and Ralph Schley of Kent, Wash., Betty and Gerald Kieper of Springfield, Joanne and Richard Groebner of Sleepy Eye; 22 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
   He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant daughter; grandson, Paul; brothers, Joseph, Edward, Wensel, John, Clement, Leonard, Arthur; and sisters, Amelia Kral, Carla Helget.
   He was born Aug. 14, 1911, in Stark Township, Brown County, to Joseph and Margaret (Neidecker) Helget. He married Leona Rothmeier on June 1, 1938, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye. They farmed in Burnstown Township until 1959 when they moved to Springfield. He worked at Hiers Feedmill and the Acolite plant until retiring. He was a member of St. Raphael's Catholic Church in Springfield, and the St. Jon's Society in Sleepy Eye.

   Reynold Forseth , 72, of LaSalle, died Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2000, at his home.
   Services are 1:30 p.m. Friday at LaSalle Lutheran Church, with burial Monday at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis.
   Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Thursday and 7:30-10:30 a.m. Friday at Sturm Funeral Home, St. James, and will continue one hour prior to services at the church Friday.
   He is survived by his wife, Delores; daughters, Patricia Thom of Nicollet, Kathleen and husband Steve Reinsvold of Rochester, Colleen Forseth of Roseville, and Julie Johnson of Blaine; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; mother, Ingeline of St. James; sister, Donna and husband Willie Williams of Denison, Texas; brother, Don and wife Nancy of Golden Valley; and many nieces and nephews.
   He was preceded in death by his father; grandson, Eric Reinsvold; and granddaughter, Dana Johnson.
   He was born April 17, 1927, in Madelia, to Edward and Ingeline (Nelson) Forseth. He attended country school District 43 near Godahl and St. James High School. He married Delores Menssen on June 11, 1950, in Butterfield. He worked with his father at the Standard station in Godahl and was a jobber for Standard Oil, LaSalle. He purchased the business, renaming it Forseth Oil Company. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II as a Seaman First Class. He attended Mankato Vocational Technical School, where he studied automotive technology. He also attended the Gale Institute of Telegraphy. He was active as a volunteer fireman. He was a member of the LaSalle City Council, LaSalle Lutheran Church board, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and was a charter member of the Mohawk Archery Club. He was also a member of the Sveadahl Flying Club.
