    Krissa Brudelie, 21, of Provo, Utah, formerly of New Ulm, died Friday, Jan. 25, 2002, as a result of an automobile accident in Utah.
   Arrangements are pending with the Firle Funeral Home in New Ulm.

   Amos L. Hayes, 80, of Lafayette died Thursday, Jan. 24, 2002, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester.
   Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at the Bernadotte Lutheran Church in Bernadotte, with burial in the church cemetery.
   Visitation will be 4 - 8 p.m. today at the Bernadotte Lutheran Church in Bernadotte, and one hour prior to services at church on Monday. Full military honors will be conducted at the cemetery by the Lafayette American Legion. The Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm is handling arrangements.
   He is survived by his wife, Leona Hayes of rural Lafayette; daughters Linda Ramsden of Cobham, Surrey, England, Jennifer Doughty of Rochester, and Patricia Rogne of Northfield; sons, Thomas Hayes of rural Lafayette, and Larrie Hayes of Wisconsin Rapids, Wis.; 12 grandchildren; one great grandson; and brothers, Leo Hayes of Henning, Donald Hayes of Farmington, and Richard Hayes of Long Prairie.
   He was born Nov. 3, 1921, in Clarissa, to Homer and Rose (Kotval) Hayes. He served in the Navy during WWII.

   Marvin Hacker, 80, of rural Lafayette, died Thursday, Jan. 10, 2002, at the Winthrop Good Samaritan Center in Winthrop.
   Memorial Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, 2002, at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm, with burial in the St. Gregory the Great Catholic Cemetery in Lafayette.
   Full military rites will be conducted at the cemetery by the Lafayette American Legion. Visitation will be 11 a.m. until time of the service on Feb. 2, 2002, at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm.
   Marvin is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Marcy and Dennis Muchow of rural Lafayette; a son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Karmin Hacker of rural Lafayette; grandchildren, Dion Muchow and wife, Amy of Shakopee, Lt. Dana Muchow of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Heather Hemingway and husband, Josh and Angela Hacker all of Fargo, North Dakota, Michael Hacker of Lafayette, and Travis Hacker of New Ulm; great grandchildren, Cassidy, Aliyah and Tayla all of Fargo, North Dakota; sister, Phillis Herring of New Ulm; brother and sister-in-law, Melvin and Katy Hacker of New Ulm; a sister-in-law, Betty Stadick of Minneapolis; and brothers-in-law, Joe Stadick and his wife, Leona of New Ulm, Edmond Geslin of Columbia Heights, and Elvin Brelji of Le Sueur.
   He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Veronica Stadick in 1971; his second wife, Dorothy Herschman in 1983; sisters, Verna Geslin, and Isabella Brelji. Marvin was born on Nov. 29, 1921, in Lafayette Township, Nicollet County, to Martin and Amelia (Hoffmann) Hacker. He attended District 1288 Hilltop Country School in Lafayette Township, Nicollet County.
   He entered the United States Army in February of 1945, stationed in Okinawa, Japan, he was discharged in December of 1946. On Feb. 11, 1947, he married Veronica Stadick at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in New Ulm. He then married Dorothy Herschman in 1973 in Gibbon.
   He was a farmer all his life also helping many other farmers. He was a member of the St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church in Lafayette.

   Scott A. Guscette, 31, of Belle Plaine, died Friday, Jan. 25, 2002, at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.
   Services are 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Fairfax, with burial in the church cemetery.
   Visitation will be 4 - 8 p.m. Monday at the Kolden Funeral Home in Belle Plaine and 10:30 a.m - 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
   He is survived by his wife Michelle of Belle Plaine; daughter Desirae; son Derek; parents, Raymond and Judy Guscette of Clear Lake, Iowa; sisters Michele McFerran and Kylie Calease, both of Clear Lake, Iowa; and grandmother, Evelyn Rebhahn of Beulah, N.D.
   He was born Sept. 21, 1970, in Jamestown, N.D., to Raymond and Judy (Clementson) Guscette.

   Clarence Stromley, 80, of Hector, died Friday, Jan. 25, 2002, at the Renville County Hospital in Olivia.
   Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday the United Methodist Church in Hector, with burial in the Hector City Cemetery.
   Visitation will be 5 - 8 p.m. Sunday at the Hughes Funeral Home in Hector, and one hour prior to services at the church.
