Gehrke, 75, of rural Winthrop, died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2002, at Immanuel-St. Joseph Hospital in Mankato. Arrangements are pending at the Dalin-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Winthrop. Mary Tighe, 92, of St. James, died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2002, at the Immanuel-St. Joseph Hospital in Mankato. Funeral arrangements are pending with the Sturm Funeral Home in St. James. Arlan Miller, 65, of Pequot Lakes, and formerly of New Ulm, died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2002, at the Good Shepard Lutheran Home in Sauk Rapids. Born April, 25, 1936, in Gibbon, to Orville and Florence (Christofferson) Miller. Arlan is survived by his wife Ione; son Doug Miller (Kristy) of Pine River, Minn.; daughter Tammera Giese of Phoenix, Ariz.; sister, JoAnn Wieland of New Ulm; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Yvonne Lewison. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2002, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Pequot Lakes, with Pastor David Stevens officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to services at the church. Arrangements are with the Kline Funeral Home in Pine River, Minn. Clarence Stromley , 80, of Hector, died Friday, Jan. 25, 2002, at Renville County Hospital in Olivia. Services will be 11 a.m. today at United Methodist Church in Hector, with burial to follow at the City Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis of Hector; sons, Gary of Northfield, Dale of Buffalo Lake, and Don of Des Moines, Iowa; daughters, Leslie Wilkinson of Hector, and Jean Thielke of Hector; 10 grandchidren; brother, Donald of Balsam Lake, Wis; sisters, Ruth Prose of Milltown, Wis., and Katherine Cox of New Hope. He was born Jan. 21, 1922, in Rush River Township, Wis., to Melvin C. and Minnie C. (Sather) Stromley. He served in the United States Navy during World War II. Anna Veigel, 95, of Fairfax, died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2002, at the Fairfax Community Home. Funeral services will be10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Fairfax, with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the time of services, at the church, on Tuesday. Hauser-Hantge Funeral Chapel of Fairfax is handling the arrangements. She was born on June 28, 1906, to Nicholas and Catherine (Schneider) Thurmes. Evelyn B. Arnsdorf, 82, of Sanborn, died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2002, at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester. Arrangements are pending with Sturm Funeral Home, Springfield.
