Arrangements are pending with Pilgrim Funeral Home, Madelia. Eric Kirchner, 15, died Monday, Feb. 1, 1999 from injuries sustained in a snowmobile accident. Services were 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 4 at Christ Lutheran Church in Slayton, with burial in Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Rosehill Township, Cottonwood County, Minn. He is survived by his parents, Dennis and Gayleen Kirchner of Avoca; brothers, Daniel and Benjamin, both of Avoca; grandparents, Luella Kirchner of Avoca and Gloria and Fred Tueffell of Storden. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Duane Kirchner and his maternal grandfather, Floyd Wall. He was born April 25, 1983, in Slayton to Dennis and Gayleen (Wall) Kirchner. He grew up in Avoca and attended Murray County Central Schools and the Area Learning Center in Worthington. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church and the Avoca 4-H club. Jan Moline, 65, died Saturday, Feb. 6, 1999 at her home from cancer. Services will be 7 p.m. Wednesday at First Lutheran Church, St. Peter. St. Peter Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements. She is survived by her husband Robert; daughter Karen and husband Ron Wallin of rural Owatonna; son Jeff and wife Kristin Groth of Louisville, Colo.; her parents Fran and "Biggie" Reedquist of Ottumwa, Iowa; sisters, Susan Reedquist of Barrington, Ill and Karen Ballew of Albuquerque, N.M.; grandchildren, Rachel and Maggie Moline of Louisville and Cody Lee Wallin of rural Owatonna; nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. She was born July 12, 1933 in Ottumwa, Iowa to Francis (Herrmann) and Lawrence "Biggie" Reedquist. She married Robert Moline on June 22, 1957. The couple moved to St. Peter in 1961, after having lived in Paxton, Ill., Etain, France and Champaign, Ill. She worked at St. Peter Regional Treatment Center. She also served on the St. Peter Planning Commission and the Nicollet County Planning Commission. Following her election to the Nicollet County Board of Commissioners in 1980, she served as chairman of the board and remained on the board until 1988. She received an M.S. degree in 1979 from Mankato State University. She was a member of First Lutheran Church, the St. Peter chapter of the League of Women Voters, the St. Peter chapter of Habitat International and the University of Minnesota Extension Service Home Economics Advisory Committee. The family suggests memorials be made in the form of gifts to either the Glueck Park at St. Peter Regional Treatment Center or the Gustavus Library Associates. Willis Buss, 63, of Hutchinson Township, died Saturday, Feb. 6, 1999, at his home. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Peace Lutheran Church, Hutchinson, with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. today and 8-9 a.m. Tuesday at Dobratz-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Hutchinson and will continue one hour prior to services at the church. Edgar Castle, 71, of 2526 S. Bridge, New Ulm, die Sunday, Feb. 7, 1999, at NUMC. Arrangements are pending with Minnesota Valley FuneralHome, New Ulm.
