Services are 11 a.m. Thursday at Faith Presbyterian Church in Silver Lake with burial in Bohemian National Cemetery in Rich Valley Township. Visitation is 4:30-8 p.m. Wednesday and continues 8-9 a.m. Thursday at Marsh in Silver Lake and also one hour before services Thursday at the church. Leonard Bauer, 86 of Stewart died Saturday, Feb. 13, 1999 at Buffalo Lake Nursing Home. Services are 2 p.m. Sunday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Stewart with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Saturday at the Hughes Funeral Home in Stewart and one hour prior to the service at the church. He is survived by wife, Hilda of Stewart; daughter and son-in-law, Marcia and Dave Parker of Plymouth; son and daughter-in-law, Bert and Kathleen Bauer of Stewart; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Selma and Dennis Palmer of Winthrop, Erna and John Trebelhorn of Northfield, Ruth and Henry Trebehorn of Richfield; brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Anna Bauer of New Auburn; sister-in-law, Luella Bauer of Gaylord; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by sister, Agnes; brother-in-law, Art Wetterlin; brother, Arnold Bauer; and son-in-law David Hodapp. He was born Jan. 22, 1913 in Transit Township, Sibley County to William and Mary (Brede) Bauer. He grew up in Transit Township and attended rural school. He married Hilda E. Rickheim on Oct. 28, 1936, at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Fernando. They farmed in Transit Township until 1947 when they moved to another farm in Round Grove Township. They retired in 1976. He was a member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Fernando where he served on the church council. In 1976 he became a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Stewart. Lothar (Stub) Mueller, 76, of Springfield died Saturday, Feb. 13, 1999, at Mankato Lutheran Home. Services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Springfield, with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at St. Paul Lutheran Church and 9-10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Arrangements are handled by Sturm Funeral Home, Springfield. He is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, DeAnn and Larry Fast of Apple Valley, Becky and Tony Miller of Mankato, Patty Mueller of Tampa, Fla.; sons and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Betty Mueller of North Mankato, Craig Mueller of New Ulm; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothea Mueller of Springfield; brother, Adelbert Mueller of Springfield. He was preceded in death by great-grandson, Jacob Miller. He was born Feb. 4, 1923, in Springfield to Adelbert and Flora E. (Alternburg) Mueller. He attended school in Springfield. He married Donna Lehrke in 1952. He worked as a mechanic. He retired in 1972. He was a former member of Zion Lutheran Church and a current member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. He also worked on the home farm. Adelia Hauser, 78, of Sleepy Eye, died Monday, Feb. 15, 1999 at Sleepy Eye. Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Sleepy Eye with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Wednesday and 7:30-9:30 a.m. Thursday at Sturm Funeral Home, Sleepy Eye. There will be a parish rosary at 4 p.m. and a Christian Mother's/Catholic Aid Rosary at 7 p.m., both at the funeral home on Wednesday. She is survived by children; Lorraine and husband, Lawrence Seifert of Clements, Mary Jane and husband, Everett Sellner of Sleepy Eye, Leonard Jr. and special friend Michelle Weilage of Essig, Anthony and wife, Colleen of Sleepy Eye, LuAnn and husband, Mark Aschenbrenner of Courtland, Lavern and friend, Teresa Mathiowetz of Sleepy Eye, John and wife Sharon of Sleepy Eye; 20 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Joseph Zwach of Mankato; and brother-in-law, Clarence Soukup of Sleepy Eye. She was preceded in death by her husband Leonard Sr. in July 1980; grandsons, Leon Hauser in June of 1988 and Jerome Seifert in March of 1981; and sister, Myra Soukup in February 1971. She was born on Dec. 2, 1920, in Sigel Township, Brown County to Joseph and Clara (Baumann) Zwach. She attended country school in Sigel Township. She married Leonard Hauser, Sr. on Sept. 24, 1940 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye. The couple lived in Milford Township for many years. Leonard died on July 2, 1980. She continued to live on the farm until September 1994 when she moved to Lake Villa Maria Apartments. She became a resident at Divine Providence on Dec. 21, 1998. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye, Catholic Aid Association, Christian Mothers and the Council of Catholic Women. Dorothy Nolting, 88, of Redwood Falls died Monday, Feb. 15, 1999 at the Wood Dale Nursing Home in Redwood Falls. Services will be held on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Redwood Falls with burial in the Redwood Falls Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. at Nelson Funeral Home in Redwood Falls. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services at the church. She is survived by children, Robert Nolting and wife Bunny of Redwood Falls, Betty Luttmer and husband Henry of Somers, Iowa, Maynard Nolting and wife Joyce of Redwood Falls, Jesse Nolting and wife Judy of Bird Island and Gary Nolting and wife Ellen of Mesa, Ariz.; 14 grandchildren, 20 great- grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and brother Rev. Hillis Slaymaker and wife Lois of Woodburn, Ore. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert in 1968; brother, Dr. John Slaymaker; and sister Lois Boots. She was born on Dec. 13, 1910, in Whiteside County, Ill., to Jesse and Maude (Nicewonger) Slaymaker. She moved to Three Lakes Township at eight years old and attended Sunrise School District 106. On June 10, 1927 she married Robert Nolting in the Presbyterian parsonage. They farmed in Redwood County. She worked for the Robert Milton Home in Redwood Falls for ten years. She was a member of the Knox First Presbyterian Church in Wabasso from 1928 until 1954 where she was a Sunday school teacher, Christian endeavor leader and president of Women's Association. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Redwood Falls since 1954 where she was a president of United Christian Women, circle member, Goodwill member, elder and deacon. She made communion bread for over 30 years for her church. She was a 4-H leader for 25 years in Redwood County.
