   Wilma E. Christensen, 94, formerly of New Ulm died Friday, Feb. 18, 2000 at the Parkview Home in Belview.
   Services are 11 a.m. Monday at Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm with burial in the Lutheran Cemetery.
   Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of service Monday at the funeral Home.
   She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Ruth Christensen of Dayville, Conn.; five grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and two great- great-grandchildren; sisters in law, Myrtle Meierbachtol of Minneapolis, Alice Christensen of Wisconsin; brothers-in-law, Rolland and wife Peggy Christensen of LeSueur, Byron and wife Angie Christensen of Redwood Falls; and nieces and a nephew.
   She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Levi Christensen on Nov. 28, 1980; son, Gerald Christensen on April 19, 1996; brothers, Ervin Henschke, and Edwin Henschke; and a sister, Adella Marquardt.
   She was born on May 11, 1905, in Echo to Edward and Elsia (Wendt) Henschke. She married Levi Christensen on Feb. 24, 1927, at Peace Lutheran Parsonage in Echo. They farmed in rural Springfield. In 1936 they moved into New Ulm. She worked for ten years at the Union Hospital in New Ulm and for ten years at the Montgomery Ward Store in New Ulm. She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Ulm and Ladies Aid. She was a member of the New Ulm Senior Citizens.

   Evelyn Bode, 85, of 314 N. Highland Ave., in New Ulm and formerly of Courtland, died Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2000 at New Ulm Medical Center in New Ulm.
   Services will be 11a.m. today at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Courtland Township, Nicollet County, with burial in the church cemetery.
   Visitation is one hour before services at the church. Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm handled arrangements.
   She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Galen and Sharon Bode of rural Sleepy Eye, Gary and Karen Bode of rural Courtland, and Lynn Bode of rural Nicollet; seven grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law, Marlys and Alvin Anderson of Hanska; and sisters-in-law, Ruth Dallmann of Nicollet, and Lila Bode, a resident of the Grandview Good Samaritan Care Center in St. Peter.
   She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Louis Bode on Sept. 13, 1996.
   She was born May 26, 1914 in Milford Township, Brown County, to Ernest and Alma (Kness) Rolloff. She attended country school. She married Louis Bode on May 3, 1937, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in rural Courtland. They farmed in Nicollet Township for two years, in Milford Township, Brown County for three years, and then moved back to farm in Nicollet Township, Nicollet County, until retiring in 1977. They moved into New Ulm in 1978. She bowled for the Senior Citizen Club. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in rural Courtland, and a member of the Dorcas Society.

    Leora Schultz, 95, of Springfield, died Thursday at St. John Lutheran Home in Springfield.
   A service will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday at Zion Lutheran Church in Springfield with burial in the church cemetery.
   Visitation is 4-7 p.m. Sunday at the Sturm Funeral Home in Springfield and will continue for one hour prior to the service at the church.
   She is survived by her sisters, Viola Rubitschung of Springfield, Blanche Schultz of McAllen, Texas and twin sister, Leila Kurtz of Redwood Falls; and several nieces and nephews.
   She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Herb in 1974; and sister, DeLoris Schultz in 1999.
   She was born Sept. 2, 1904 in Sundown Township, Redwood County, to Peter and Helga (Madsen) Frederickson. She attended rural school and Morgan High School.She completed teacher's training in 1922 in Sleepy Eye. She taught in rural schools in Redwood County for 10 years. She married Herbert Schultz July 15, 1932, at Brookville Lutheran Church. They lived in Springfield. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Springfield, and an honorary member of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League. She was past president and board member of the Springfield Gun Club, and a past member of several local organizations.

   Otto 'Scotty' Koch, 64, rural Hanska, died Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2000, at his home.
   Services are 11 a.m. Monday at Lake Hanska Lutheran Church with burial at a later date.
   Visitation is one hour prior to services at the church. Firle Funeral Home of Hanska is handling the arrangements.
   He is survived by his wife, Debra of Hanska; son, Mark Wierschke and his wife Mona of Chico, Calif.; brothers, Charles and his wife Mary Koch of New Ulm, Bill and his wife Pat Koch of Los Angeles, Calif.; sisters, Clarice Blaido of Cottage Grove, Rose Goodman of Cleveland, Ohio, Janice Dillig and her husband Ron of Milwaukee, Wis., Karen Schultz of Watertown, Wis; mother-in-law, Delores Bentdahl of Hanska; brother-in-law, Marlow Bentdahl and his wife Sue of Sheboygan, Wis.; sisters-in-law, Deanna Mohr and her husband Pat of Hanska, Sherraye Lindstrom and her husband Dave of Bloomington, Bonnie Gasper and her husband Tom of Eden Prairie, Liz Stahl and her husband Tim of Spirit Lake, Iowa; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
    He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Marlene Rose and Muriel Luepke; father-in-law, Orlando Bentdahl; and brother-in-law,Robert Schultz.
   He was born Dec. 9, 1935, in New Ulm to Otto and Norma (Craven) Koch, Sr. He attended Catholic schools in New Ulm. He entered the United States Army in 1954. While in the military, he received his GED. Following his discharge in 1957. He traveled the country and worldwide as a rodeo clown/bull fighter. He married Debra Bentdahl on Jan. 10, 1981, in Cleveland, Minn. They lived in Elysian and Faribault, before moving to Lake Hanska Township in 1986. In 1983, he obtained a degree in computer programming from Mankato Technical College. He was also a master plumber and did carpentry work. He was a member of Lake Hanska Lutheran Church. He was member and honorary member of the New Ulm Battery and the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association. He coached Hanska youth T-ball. He a Santa's Helper for many years.

   Rose Heil, 91, of Hector, died Thursday, Feb. 17, 2000, at Buffalo Lake Health Care Center.
   Services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. John's Catholic Church, Hector, with burial in the church cemetery.
   Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Monday at Hughes Funeral Home, Hector. Parish prayer service will be 7 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services Tuesday at the church.
   She is survived by sisters, Florence Heil of Hutchinson, Leona Laffen of Underwood, and Marie McCarthy of Riverside, Calif.; brother, Philip and wife Dorothy of Alexandria; and several nieces and nephews.
   She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother Robert.
   She was born June 15, 1908, in Mankato, to Joseph and Flora Heil. She grew up in Mankato, where she lived until moving to Hector. She attended the Bird Island Parochial School. She worked at Ginsburg's Grocery Store.

   Gertrude B. Donahue, 76, of Mankato, died Jan. 16, 2000.
   Funeral services were held Jan. 20 at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Mankato with burial at Calvary Cemetery in Mankato.
   She is survived by sons, Greg and wife Marilyne of Clarks Grove, and Timothy of Minneapolis; daughter, Lisa Donahue and husband Jeff Gay of Minneapolis; granddaughter, Zoe; brother, Alex and wife Agnes Guggisberg of Gibbon; sisters, Bernice Pfeffer of Fairfax, Sally Warner and husband Lloyd of Queensland, Australia.
   She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers and one sister.
   She was born to William and Rose (Hillesheim) Guggisberg on March 29, 1923 in Bismarck Township, Sibley County. She graduated from Gibbon High School. In 1948, she married Donald Donahue at St. Willibrord's Catholic Church in Gibbon. They moved to Mankato where she worked as a secretary for the Gamble-Robinson Store and at Minnegasco Natural Gas Company. She was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church.
