   Aurelio Garibay, 43 of Madelia died Wednesday, February 12, 1999 at his home.
   Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Madelia with burial in Calvary Cemetery.
   Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Sunday with a 7:30 p.m. prayer service and 9:30-10:45 a.m. Monday at the Pilgrim Funeral Home.
   He is survived by wife Maria; father Juan of Madelia; sisters Alejandrina and Otelia of Mexico; brother Juan of Mexico; half-brothers and sisters San Juana of Worthington, Jose Vidal of Mankato, Jorge, John Vincente, Blanca, Alma, Juana, Amy, and Mickey all of Madelia.
   He was preceded in death by his mother and a half-sister.
   He was born May 6, 1955 in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico to Juan and Maria (Galvan) Garibay. He grew up in Mexico and moved to Minnesota in 1977, becoming a U.S. citizen. He married Maria Guadalupe in September, 1977 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Madelia where they lived and he worked at Tony Downs' Foods. He attended St. Mary's Catholic Church in Madelia.

   Beatrice E. McCleary, 87 of Fountain Hills, Ariz., formerly of Fairmont, died Friday, February 19, 1999.
   A family graveside service will be held at a later date in New Ulm.
   She is survived by sons William of Minnetonka, Thomas of St. Louis, Mo.; daughters Patricia Van Der Vorste of Marshfield, Wis., Julianne Roth of New Ulm; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; twin sister Berniece Lowe of Fairmont.
   She was born Sept 28, 1911 in Fairmont. She was a member of the Fountain Hills Presbyterian Church and was a volunteer at St. Dominic's Food Bank.

   Arlo Brudeli, 85 of Hanska died Friday, February 19, 1999 at the Lake Crystal Health Care Center.
   Funeral arrangements are pending with Firle Funeral home in New Ulm.

   Effie Alvina Nickel, 82 of Springfield died Friday, February 19, 1999 at St. John's Lutheran Home in Springfield.
   Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Red Rock Central United Methodist Church with burial in the church cemetery in Sanborn.
   Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Sunday and 7:30-8 a.m. Monday at the Sturm Funeral Home in Springfield and one hour prior to the service at the church.
   She is survived by husband Marvin of Springfield; daughter and son-in-law Shirley and Dean McNeal of Fulda; daughter and son-in-law Audrey and Gary Jorgenson of Sioux Falls, S.D.; son and daughter-in-law Virgil and Jill Nickel of Sanborn; Marlow and Marilyn Nickel of Jeffers, David and Janis Nickel of Sanborn; 16 grandchildren; six grandchildren; brothers Gilbert of Jeffers, Willard of Sleepy Eye, Alvin of Jeffers.
   She was preceded in death by sisters Nora Karowl Ethel Albright, Esther Karow, Emily Essig; brothers Paul and Romay.
   She was born Feb 27, 1916 in Amboy Township, Cottonwood County to Adolph and Alvina (Quiram) Graff. She attended country school through the eighth grade. She married Marvin W. Nickel Aug. 29, 1940 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Sanborn. They lived on the family farm until moving to Springfield in 1973. She entered St. John's Lutheran Home in 1997. She was a member of Red Rock United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school and served as an officer of United Methodist Women.

   Burnett "Bernie" Radtke, 89 of Sanborn died Friday, February 19, 1999 at St. John's Lutheran Home in Springfield.
   Funeral arrangements are pending with Sturm Funeral Home in Springfield.
