   Clella Brown, 93, of New Ulm, died Sunday at the New Ulm Medical Center.
   Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Oakwood United Methodist Church in New Ulm with burial to follow in the Fort Ridgely Cemetery.
   Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.
   She is survived by her sons, David Brown and wife Judy of Phoenix, Ariz., Frederic Brown and wife Jeannette of Darwin, George Brown and wife Donna of Irvine, Calif., William Brown and wife Mary of New Ulm; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a sister, Grace Kimes of Sun City, Ariz.; and many nieces and nephews.
   She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Robert; and several brothers and sisters.
   Clella Victoria Rieke, the daughter of William and Imogene (Coffey) Rieke, was born Oct. 14, 1906 in Franklin. She attended Franklin High School and was named Valedictorian of her graduating class. After high school she trained in nursing in Mankato. Clella married Alby Brown March 14, 1931 in Mankato. Together, they farmed in Camp Township, Renville County for many years. After retiring from farming in 1965, they continued to make their home on the farm until moving to New Ulm in 1982. Following her husband's death in 1988, she continued to make her home in New Ulm. She was a member of the Oakwood United Methodist Church.

   Eva May Rentz, 62, of Mountain Lake, died Saturday at Windom Area Hospital in Windom.
   A service will be held 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Augustana Lutheran Church with interment at Mount Hope Cemetery in St. James.
   Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Monday and 7:30-11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Sturm Funeral Home in St. James.
   Eva is survived by daughters, Paula Pieper and husband Lyle of Le Center, Pat Rentz of Le Center, and Beth Rentz of Windom; a son, Mark Rentz and wife Julie of St. James; seven grandchildren; sister, Janet Plath and husband Bob of St. James; a brother, John Larson and wife Sherry of Fairmont; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
   She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; and sisters, Ella Shellum, Mary Rohmsdahl and Margie Larson.
   She was born May 22, 1937 to John and Minnie (Carlson) Larson in Ormsby. She received her education at District 56 country school near Ormsby and graduated from St. James High School in 1955. Eva married Robert Reinhold Rentz at Augustana Lutheran Church in St. James. They made their home in the St. James area. Eva worked as a waitress, did daycare and home health care, and also worked at Tony Downs Food. She was a member of Augustana Lutheran, where she taught Sunday school. Eva was a Den Mother for Troup No. 96. She lived at the Good Samaritan Village in Mountain Lake for the past two years.

   Clara L. Rudebusch, 89, of rural Ormsby, died Friday at the Lutheran Retirement Home in Truman.
   Services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Olaf Lutheran Church in rural Odin with burial in the church cemetery.
   Visitation is 5-7 p.m. today at the Kramer Family Funeral Home in Trimont and one hour prior to services at the church.
   Clara is survived by her daughter, Darlene Braun of rural Ormsby; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
   She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands; son-in-law, Vernon Braun; brothers, Johnny, Raleigh, Sever, Oliver and Palmer; sisters, Minnie, Olga, Ruby and Mabel; and other relatives.
   Clara Luella Espelund was born April 22, 1910 in Watonwan County to Ole and Pauline (Peterson) Espelund. Clara attended country school in rural Odin and later graduated from St. Paul Beauty School in Minneapolis. She then owned and operated Paris Beauty Shop for several years in Benson. Clara married Carl Pederson and they lived on a farm in rural Odin until Carl's death. Clara then moved to Minneapolis where she worked. She married Carl Rudebusch, who was from the Ormsby area. They lived on the farm until 1993 when she was stricken by a stroke and later became a resident of the Lutheran Retirement Home. Clara was a member of St. Olaf Lutheran Church.

   Daniel "Foghorn" Ludewig, 66, of 2201 N. Broadway, died Sunday, Feb. 20, 2000, at the New Ulm Medical Center.
   Funeral arrangements are pending with the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm.

   Hallie Christensen, 87, of Trimont, formerly of Madelia and rural St. James, died Sunday at Trimont Health Care Center.
   Funeral arrangements are pending with the Kramer Family Funeral Home in Trimont.
