Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, 2002, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gaylord, with burial to follow at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Gaylord. Visitation will be 4 - 8 p.m. Friday and 7:30 - 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Egesdal Funeral Home in Gaylord. Elroy was preceded in death by his wife Gladys Voigt. He is survived by his sons, Eugene Voigt of Lake Elmo, and Myron Voigt of Mesa, Ariz.; daughters, Mavis Wagner of Brownton, and Donna Sylvester of Gaylord; brothers, Harvey Voigt of Ceres, Calif., and Arnold Voigt of Lake Mills, Iowa; sisters, Delores Streich of Le Center, Caroline Voigt of Glencoe; Lorraine Krumm of Glencoe; and Gladys Alsleben of Gaylord; 12 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and four step-great grandchildren. Elroy Voigt was born April 4, 1924, in Green Isle Township, Sibley County, to Alvin and Ella (Sauter) Voigt. In 1950, Elroy and Gladys moved to Gaylord to help Elroy's dad operate a restaurant. During his lifetime he operated a road grader for the Sibley County Highway Department, Komatz Construction of St. Peter, and Mathiowetz Construction of Sleepy Eye. He retired in 1993. Otto Reitter, 83, of Las Vegas, Nev., formerly of New Ulm, and St. George, died Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2002, at the Mountain View Hospital in Las Vegas. Arrangements are pending with the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm. Sam L. Isaacson, 73, of Buffalo Lake, formerly of Layfayette, died Friday, Feb. 15, 2002, in Palm Desert, Calif. Services are 11 a.m. Friday at Dalin-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Winthrop with burial in the Methodist Cemetery in rural Layfayette. Visitation is 4-7 p.m. today and from 7:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday, at the Dalin-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Winthrop. He is survived by his wife, Ilene Isaacson of Buffalo Lake; sons, Dale Isaacson of Palm Desert Calif., Dean Isaacson of Danvers, Jim Isaacson of Phoenix, Ariz; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; brothers Delmar Isaacson, Darwin Isaacson, Donald Isaacson. He was born on July 30, 1928, in New Ulm to Henry and Hulva (Gustafson) Isaacson. He served in the United States Navy from March 13, 1946 until Feb. 25, 1948. Shane Krueger, 32, of Nicollet, died Feb. 20, 2002, Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in North Mankato, with burial in Kerns Oak Grove, Belgrade Township, Nicollet County. Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Friday at Landkamer-Johnson-Boman Funeral Home, Mankato. He is survived by his parents David and Geraldine Krueger of North Mankato; son, Trenton of Nicollet; brother, Stephen of Good Thunder; sister, Lisa Krueger of Nicollet; and grandmothers, Christina Paulson of Mason City, Iowa, and Elizabeth Gibson of Mankato. He was born Oct. 1, 1969, in Nicollet to David and Geraldine Krueger.
