   Kristi Crowley, 43, of Madelia, died Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2000 at her home.
   Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Madelia, with burial in Calvary Cemetery, Madelia.
   Visitation is 5-8 p.m. today at St. Mary's Social Hall and 9-10:15 a.m. Saturday.
   Pilgrim Funeral Home, Madelia, is in charge of arrangements.
   She is survived by her husband, John; daughters, Jessica Louise Grothe of New York City and Megan Marie Grothe of Austin; parents, Leighton and Louise Johnson of Albert Lea; brother, Ray Johnson and wife Diane Landis of St. Paul; sister, Kim Johnson of St. Paul; and several nieces and nephews.
   She was preceded in death by her grandparents, aunts and uncles.
   She was born Dec. 6, 1956, in Madison, S.D., to Leighton and Louise (Westerbur) Johnson. She grew up in Holland, Minn. and Benson, where she graduated from high school in 1975. She attended Augsburg College, University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, and Sister Mary Rosland School of Massage Therapy, from which she graduated in 1994. She worked as a massage therapist. She married John Crowley on Dec. 16, 1999, in St. James. They lived in rural Madelia. She was a member of Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals.

   Lillian Peterson, 92, of Mankato, died Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2000, at Mankato House Health Care Center.
   Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Mankato Mortuary, with burial in Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis.
   Visitation is one hour prior to services Saturday at the mortuary.
   She is survived by nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews and cousins.
   She was preceded in death by her husband, six sisters and three brothers.
   She was born Oct. 24, 1907, in New Ulm, to Rudolph and Emma (Strate) Alwin. She attended school in New Ulm. She married Herbert Peterson in 1942 in Antroch, Calif. She worked with the United States Department of Agriculture in Iowa and Mankato. She was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church, where she was attendance secretary. She was also a member of A.A., the 5th Ave. Club and the Mankato American Legion Auxiliary.

   Blanche (Mrs. Howard) Biebl, 82, of Gibbon died Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2000, in New Braunfels, Texas.
   Services are 11 a.m. Monday at Augustana Lutheran Church in Gibbon with burial in the Clear Lake Lutheran Cemetery in Cornish Township, Sibley County.
   Visitation is 4-7p.m. Sunday at Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in Gibbon and will continue for one hour prior to the time of the service at the church on Monday.

   Marjorie P. Walters, 65, of Comfrey, died Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2000, at her home.
   Services are 1:30 p.m., Saturday, at St. Paul's Church, Comfrey, with burial at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Springfield.
   Visitation is 4-8 p.m. today, and 7:30-11:30 a.m. Saturday, at Sturm Funeral Home Chapel, Comfrey, and at the church Saturday, one hour prior to the service.
   She is survived by her husband, LeRoy "Swede" Walters of Comfrey; daughters and sons-in-law, Kim and Jon Anderson of Springfield; Kathy and Cletus Hillesheim of Sanborn; sons and daughters-in-law, Daniel and Sheryl Walters of Granite Falls, and Dana and Patti Walters of Coon Rapids; nine grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Mary Ann Prechel; sisters and brothers-in-law, Yvonne and Lester Schuelke of Richland Center, Wis., Marion and Kay Satterlie of Evansville; June and Lowell Plagge of Young America; and several nieces and nephews.
   She was preceded in death by her parents.
   She was born July 24, 1934, in Springfield to Louis and Lydia (Wendt) Prechel. She married LeRoy Walters on Sept. 11, 1954 in Comfrey. She completed the practical nurses training program at Union Hospital in New Um, and she worked at the Comfrey Hospital. She recently worked at Coast to Coast in Springfield, and Schneider Drug in Comfrey. She was a former member of the Salem Lutheran, a current member of Hope Lutheran church. She sang in the church choir and Comfrey Community Choir.

   Edward Ganske, 92, of Sleepy Eye, died Thursday, Feb. 24, 2000 at Sleepy Eye Municipal Hospital.
   Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Sleepy Eye, with burial in the church cemetery.
   Visitation is 4-9 p.m. today and 7:30-9:30 a.m. Saturday at Sturm Funeral Home, Sleepy Eye. There will be a C.O.F. rosary at 4 p.m. and a parish prayer service at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home today.
   He is survived by his children and their spouses, Donna and Leo Schlumpberger of Waconia, Judith and William Gotschall of Excelsior, and Joyce and Bruce Van den Berghe of Inver Grove Heights; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
   He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Beatrice in 1995; sisters, Gertrude, Maime, Margaret and Leona; and brothers, John, Leonard and Peter.
   He was born June 18, 1907, in Home Township, Brown County, to Frederick and Mary (Kuelbs) Ganske. He attended school at rural district 17 and St. Mary's Grade School. He married Beatrice Steffl on June 4, 1936, in Sleepy Eye. They lived at the Ganske homestead until 1970, when they retired and moved to Sleepy Eye. He was a charter member of the first rural 4-H club in Home Township. He was custodian and groundskeeper of the Home Booster Club House of Home Township for six years. He was a past member of the Brown County American Dairy Association, the National Holstein Friesian Society and the Dairy Herd Improvement Association. He was treasurer of District 17 schools for 21 years until it was disbanded in 1962. He was on the board of directors of Farmer's Creamery Company, Sleepy Eye. He was an adult 4-H leader and a member of the Brown County Historical Society. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Sleepy Eye. He was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters. He served on the St. Mary's Centennial Committee in 1976 and did volunteer work for various church projects.

   Florence 'Cookie' Willroth, 92, of Gibbon died Tuesday, Feb., 22, 2000, at Arlington Municipal Hospital.
   Services are 1 p.m. Saturday at the Augustana Lutheran Church in Gibbon with burial in the church cemetery.
   Visitation is 11:30 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the Augustana Lutheran Church in Gibbon.
   Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in Gibbon is in charge of arrangements.
   She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Joan and Vernon Langhorst of Alma, Wis.; grandchildren, Brian Langhorst and his wife Sara of Alma, Wis., and Chad Langhorst of Maple Grove; a brother and sister-in-law, Andrew E. Pettis and his wife Opal of Redwood Falls; many nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews.
   She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Waldo Willroth in 1987; six brothers; and five sisters.
   She was born June 14, 1907, in Emmet Township, Renville County to Harvey and Ida (Shaller) Pettis. She married Waldo Willroth on March 28, 1941, in Lafayette. They farmed in the Gibbon area until moving into Gibbon in 1943. She worked as a waitress in the Gibbon area, including at the Gibbon Ballroom, for many years. She was a member of the Augustana Lutheran Church in Gibbon.

   Loretta B. Klinker, 94, of Foley, and formerly of Fairfax, died Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2000, at the Foley Nursing Center in Foley.
   Services are 10 a.m. Monday at Shepherd of the Pines Lutheran Church in Rice, Minn. with burial at 2 p.m. at Fort Ridgely Cemetery in rural Fairfax.
   Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Shelley Funeral Chapel in Little Falls, and one hour before services at the church.
   She was born June 9, 1905, in Bandon Township, Renville County, to Fred and Freida (Schroeder) Grams. She grew up and attended school in rural Renville County. She married Henry Klinker May 12, 1926, in Fairfax. They farmed in rural Fairfax until 1930. They lived in Fairfax and Little Falls. She worked in housekeeping at St. Gabriel's Hospital in Little Falls. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Little Falls and St. John's Lutheran Church in Fairfax.
   She is survived by her son, Jerome Klinker and wife, Sally of Rice; sister, Olga Bubblitz of Fairfax; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
   She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry in 1993; brothers, Harry, Howard and Art Klinker; and sisters, Lucille Lund, Meda Timm, Leona Grams.
   

   Elmer Swanson, 89, of Fairfax, died Thursday, Feb. 24, 2000, at Fairfax Community Nursing Home.
   Arrangements are pending with Hauser-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Fairfax.
